Trevor sat beside his fiancee and gently wiped his limbs off with a soft wash clothing. He had lit candles in their bathroom and had turned the lights off to calm her down. He had already washed her face and after he washed her body he'd have to wash the blood from her hair.

"Trevor?" Olivia whispered as she looked at her fiance.

"Yeah, baby?" He questioned.

"Can you go to the hospital and check on Maureen after this? I want to know if I let my niece get killed or not." Olivia breathed. Trevor frowned before nodding.

"I'd do anything for you," Trevor spoke. He ran the washcloth over Olivia's bump to get some blood off that had seeped through her shirt, before helping her sit up.

"Can I go to bed now?" She asked, numbly. Trevor shook his head before frowning.

"No, baby. I still have to wash your hair."

"It's okay." She breathed.

"No, honey. I don't want you looking in the shower in the morning and find that you had blood in your hair all night. Now, let me drain the water and refill it."

"I'm sorry, Trevor." Olivia whimpered.

"Why are you apologizing to me?" Trevor mused.

"Because you are engaged to a murderer."

Trevor hesitantly left Olivia at the apartment before heading to the hospital. The parking lot was packed with cop cars, and Trevor knew it was because a cop's kid was shot. He found a parking spot far away, before walking up and into the front of the hospital. He stopped and asked where those were waiting for Maureen, before moving up there.

"Elliot," Trevor spoke gently, as he walked towards where Elliot was sitting as he caressed Lizzie's hair. He looked up from his sleeping daughter before shaking his head.

"Get out of here, Tree Boy. No one wants you here and no one wants Olivia here either." Elliot huffed. Trevor stopped in his path before frowning deeply.

"I'm not here to fight with you or Kathy. I'm just here to check-in and to see if you guys need anything." Trevor spoke. Elliot was going to start yelling at Trevor, but Kathy stood on shaky legs and walked to the man and looked at him.

"T-thanks, Trevor... Uh, can you take the kids out to our house? My mother is there with Eli, and I don't want the kids here anymore." Kathy spoke. Trevor nodded before pulling his handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to her. Kathy held it tightly in her hands before looking back at him.

"How is she?" Trevor whispered.

"Not good. She's in a medically induced coma right now." Kathy replied slowly.

"I'm so sorry. Olivia and I have been praying for you all. I'll take the kids and send you a message when I get them there." Trevor spoke. Kathy nodded and she got Kathleen up and had her moving towards the elevator as Trevor took the twins and carried them to the elevator.

"Why did Aunt Liv let this happen?" Kathleen questioned quietly, as they waited for the elevator to arrive at their floor.

"Kathleen, your Aunt didn't mean for this to happen at all. She was just trying to prevent this all from happening, but what happened... happened. She loves you and your siblings and will never be able to forgive herself for what happened. Please don't take it out on her." Trevor spoke. Kathleen wiped tears from her cheeks before shrugging.

"My sister might die because she didn't do her job good enough, Trevor. I'd rather have my sister than her."

It was very touch and go with Maureen. She was still losing blood and had gone without oxygen for a while. Alex was trading off going to and from the hospital to keep Olivia and Trevor updated, but no one could get Olivia to talk. She was either sitting in the corner of their bedroom having a panic attack or laying in bed crying as she thought about not being able to protect Maureen.

"Are they thinking about charging Olivia?" Trevor spoke quietly, as he looked at Alex. Olivia was sleeping, finally, so he was taking this opportunity to get an update that was more real than anything else. They had been sugar-coating a lot for Olivia because she's so fragile.

"There have been talks about it. Possible manslaughter but more than likely just charging her for not being able to protect Maureen." Alex replied. Trevor swallowed hard as he thought about his fiancee going to jail for something she didn't intend to happen. He had a hard time thinking about how she'd ever be able to move on if Maureen died.

"This wasn't her fault... I hate to say it... but Maureen walked in when she knew she shouldn't have." Trevor sighed.

"I know, but if Maureen dies... Elliot is going to be out for blood. He will try and ruin your lives."

"Our child won't have a mother because Olivia will be in prison for years. She may not even come back to us once she is released." Trevor frowned.

"Liv?" Alex questioned suddenly. Trevor turned around and saw Olivia standing in the doorway of their bedroom.

"Is she dead?" She sniffled.

"No, baby. She isn't. She's still fighting." Trevor spoke, as he moved to her. He helped her into the living room and made her sit down before going in and fixing the ponytail that was falling out of its hair tie.

"How are you feeling?" Alex asked.

"I'm kinda hungry... or maybe it's just the baby that is hungry," Olivia whispered.

"Good! I'll make you some soup." Alex smiled, as she walked over and kissed the top of Olivia's head before moving to the kitchen.

"How are you doing, darling?" Trevor questioned.

"I heard that I'm going to jail," Olivia spoke.

"It hasn't been confirmed yet. And I'll be your defense." Trevor spoke.

"Why would you do that? I deserve to be in jail... I let two kids die and one almost died." Olivia spoke.

"No, you didn't. It was time-sensitive. You did what you needed to do. There is nothing you could have down differently." Trevor spoke.

"I could have waited for backup. I could have left Maureen here. I could have taken that bullet myself." Olivia spoke.

"Then not only would there have two kids that died, but our kid would have also been dead too."
