Once home, Trevor carried his wife into the house and got her comfortable on the couch. She whimpered from pain as soon as she had left her husband's arms, and the pain was unlike any other. She knew that she'd be in pain for a while, but her pain was so much worse because she was also emotionally drained.

"Alright, here is some tea. I can get you some toast or something if you'd like." Trevor spoke, but his wife wouldn't even take the mug from him. She was too busy focusing on something on the far side of the living room. Trevor set the mug on the coffee table before settling down onto the floor beside his wife. He reached out and caressed her hair before seeing as she pointed her finger at the object she had been focusing on.

"Get rid of that," Olivia whispered. Trevor looked over and saw an old well-loved baby name book. Everyone in their family had used it to name their children, and Trevor had snuck it from his parents' house the last time they were there to prepare for their newest baby.

"Baby, I can't throw that away." Trevor breathed.

"I don't care how much that book means to you, but I can't have it here." Olivia whimpered.

"Okay. I'll get it out of the house..." Trevor breathed. He stood before moving to where the book was. He picked it up and ran his fingers over the cover before heading to the front door. He unlocked it before heading down the stairs and to his car. He opened the passenger side door before tossing the book in. He shut the door and locked it before feeling a few tears fall down his cheeks.

His wife was really giving up. He didn't blame her, because right now all he wanted was that baby that Olivia had nestled within, but now he or she was in heaven.

The next morning, Olivia was still asleep in bed while Trevor went downstairs and started to make breakfast. He could barely start cracking the eggs for scrambled eggs for Olivia when he started to sob. He leaned against the counter as strong sobs wracked his body. He had tried his hardest to be strong for Olivia, but he had also lost a baby. It was hitting him incredibly hard, and he had never expected that.

"Trev?" Olivia's soft voice breathed from where she was slowly moving down the stairs.

"Babe, go back to bed. I'll be up soon." Trevor struggled to speak as his voice betrayed him.

"What's wrong? Did you hurt yourself?" Olivia asked weakly, as she came into the kitchen. Trevor was quickly brushing tears from his cheeks as he tried to not freak out his wife. He was just finishing up with the tears when his wife placed her hands to his waist.

"You should have stayed in bed. I would have been up soon." Trevor breathed.

"Are you crying?" Olivia asked, as she slowly turned her husband around. Trevor looked down at his wife as he tried to blink the tears away.

"No. I'm fine."

"Trevor, you aren't fine," Olivia whispered.

"I shouldn't be crying, Olivia... I wasn't the one that just experienced a miscarriage..." Trevor whimpered.

"But you did just lose your child."

"Olivia, I'm so sorry... I'll be stronger. I promise. I'll be incredibly strong and hide my tears. Just to make sure that you are okay." Trevor spoke weakly.

"Don't bottle up your feelings, Trevor... I don't want you to do that. I know that I'm so pissed off at everything, but I'm not pissed off at you. You gave me that baby, and you were there when I lost it... I'm pissed off at Alex for stressing me out. For that fucking doctor that didn't do their job. For that nurse thinking, I just had period cramps. But I will never be angry at you, Trevor. Because you sat by me." Olivia whispered. She leaned close to her husband and hugged him tightly. He leaned down and kissed the top of his wife's head before giving her a squeeze.

"How are you feeling?" Trevor whispered.

"Not good... I'm bleeding pretty bad... so can you do me a favor?" Olivia asked.

"Anything for you, Olivia."

"Would you mind going to the drug store? I need some more... products." Olivia breathed. She didn't think she'd need pads or even adult diapers for a year, but now she was asking her husband to go buy some.

"I'll be right back... I'm going to pick up some breakfast on the way home. Okay?" Trevor spoke.

"I'm not hungry... but thanks anyway."

Trevor was walking through the drug store for what his wife wanted. He had also been grabbing things that he knew brought a smile to his wife's face. Like stupidly large stuffed animals, funny singing cards, and candy. He was stocking up on all he could think of just to make sure his wife could recover from this all.

"You are so fucking hot." A voice growled. Trevor ignored it, as he went and grabbed some of Olivia's favorite chapstick before moving down the aisle so he could get to the feminine hygiene items.

"Trevor, don't ignore me. I know you heard me." The voice growled again. Trevor turned quickly and saw Alex standing there. He had to keep himself in check because he didn't want to be arrested for punching the bitch that hurt his wife.

"Alex, get away from me." Trevor huffed.

"No. I want you. Now." Alex spoke, as she went to reach for his package, but he hit her hand away.

"Alex, you can rot in hell for all I care." Trevor spat.

"That is no way to talk to your future wife." Alex smiled.

"Alex, do you even have a heart anymore? Because if you do, maybe what I have to say to you will get you to leave the city for good."

"With you?" Alex smiled.

"You freaked my wife out enough last night, that she lost our baby. Everything had been fine. She was healthy. The baby was healthy. But then you waltzed into our lives again, and now we are grieving the life of our child because of you." Trevor spoke. He watched as Alex's face went red, and she swallowed hard.

"Olivia lost the baby?" Alex whispered.

"I guess your dream came true."
