Olivia walked into work the morning that she realized she was finally getting a bump and she couldn't help but smile. She walked straight to her desk before hearing Elliot walk towards her. She turned around in her chair and smiled as her partner handed her a mug of tea.
"Whoa, what's with the smile?" Elliot asked, as he walked around their desks and sat at his desk.
"I'm just happy. Really happy. How is your collarbone doing?" Olivia questioned.
"It's starting to feel better. My range of motion is better. How are you feeling?" Elliot asked, and Olivia shrugged.
"Still don't have my memory from the month before I found out I was pregnant, but I'm happy because I'm finally starting to show. It lets Trevor and I know that our baby is growing. We don't need to be as scared and worried now." Olivia replied.
"I'm glad about that, Olivia. Kathy was asking me this morning if you were planning on having a baby shower." Elliot sighed. Olivia couldn't respond before her blonde best friend was walking into the squadroom.
"I'm throwing her a baby shower. Kathy can help and all, but I'm the one planning the shower to celebrate my godchild." Alex spoke. Elliot laughed as he nodded.
"At least my wife won't go crazy over making everything perfect then."

At lunch, Alex and Olivia went out for lunch. Since Olivia was on desk duty, she didn't have to worry about running out and following leads. She got a little more freedom and Cragen let her go out if she wanted. She didn't do it often, but she wanted to eat out with her friend today and discuss everything that was happening.
"So, 14 weeks, eh?" Alex asked, and Olivia nodded.
"Yeah. Just a few more weeks and Trevor and I got to decide if we want to find out the baby's sex or not." Olivia spoke.
"What do you want to do?" Alex questioned.
"I want to be surprised. Trevor, on the other hand, wants to know. I guess that I didn't want the baby because it was ruining our plan, but then I'm the one who doesn't want to plan a nursery and buy clothes in pink or blues." Olivia laughed softly.
"You could reveal the gender at the baby shower. Or just let me know and then I could surprise you both." Alex offered. This was the first time someone very close to her was having a baby, so she wanted to be as involved as they would allow. She lucked out because Trevor and Olivia were planning on having her be the godmother to all of their children, even if this one was coming into their lives earlier than they had planned.
"Yeah, but you'd blab it to Elliot and the crew. Then Elliot would accidentally let it slip to his wife and kids. Then the kids would accidentally tell me when I go to see them. So either we will all know or we will not know until the baby is born." Olivia smiled.
"God, you are no fun." Alex laughed.
They ordered their lunch before just sitting there for a bit and drinking their iced tea. Olivia looked up from her tea and examined her friend's face for a few long moments before speaking.
"So, are you doing okay?" Olivia asked quietly.
"What do you mean?" Alex questioned.
"Well, it must be kinda lonely that I'm not single anymore... That I've been kinda caught up with your guy best friend."
"Liv, I'm lonely. I miss having you around all the time and having Trevor around to annoy me. But I'm so thankful that you two are happy and are together. I'm so excited to become an aunt and to be able to see you both smile again." Alex spoke.
