An annoying ache at the back of Jeno's throat kept waking him up during the night, making him toss and turn in his lush sheets in total discomfort.

It was still extremely dark out and his room was only lit by the tiniest night light, not giving much rays to the enormous room that was his. Even with the suitable sleeping surroundings, it wasn't enough to put the man back into a deep sleep.

At around three am, it became way too much and Jeno had to sit up in his bed. His dark eyes scanned around his room as he let an annoyed sigh at nothing in particular, wishing he could just have one good night's sleep to sleep off all his stress.

A couple seconds passed before he felt something arise in his throat, feeling like a small person was in the back of his mouth and tickling his throat with a feather, making him cough out one of his lungs at the sensation.

"Dear god," Jeno mumbles, being all to familiar with this feeling.

Being out in the rain, even though for mere seconds, must've caused him to catch a stupid cold. This was great, especially since the week just started and a weekend of recovery is days away. By then his cold would be gone and there would be no point.

His eyes met with the time on his digital clock, making him groan even louder and wishing he could just pass out and get some rest. But that seemed far away, his eyes now wide and alive as he scanned his room.

A sudden ringing startled the absolute crap out of him, his eyes flashing back to his nightstand and eyeing his phone that was now lit up. Jeno rubbed his eyes tiredly and looked at the caller ID, realizing it was his boss.

Why was he calling so damn early in the morning?

Jeno clears his throat and picks up his phone, the other line clicking as he answered the call.

"Jeno?" His boss said with a smooth voice, making Jeno wonder if the man ever slept since his voice was clear and crisp.

"Yes, boss?" Jeno said, stifling another cough that threatened to come out.

"Having the WY company under my control is exhilarating, isn't it?"

The dark haired male stiffened at the tone of his voice, sounding more evil than his boss probably intended.

He knew that Jeno was informed of all the secrets, and that's what made it hard for him to get away from his job. Who knows what his boss would do if one of his workers informed of all these secrets was let loose, free to tell the world.

"Yes..," Jeno trailed off, biting his lip.

The man on the other end heaved a laugh, almost scaring Jeno for a second which caused a cough to erupt from his throat. A silence too over the line as Jeno tried to compose himself, stifling the cough as much as he could.
