Jeno woke up with a severe pain in the back of his neck.

He had no idea what happened, but he must've passed out while doing work because he woke up sprawled across the couch.

All he really does remember was that nightmare fuel dream he had during the night. It still gave him chills as he slowly got himself dressed for work. The weird vibes still lingered in his house and he couldn't seem to stop playing the dream over and over in his mind.

Chenle cut off his daze by placing pancakes in front of Jeno, making his stomach growl at the sight of the fluffy breakfast. He decided to forget the dream for now, he has a lot more issues to face at work today as he relives the guilt he caused with that deal he signed.

Man, if only for once he could be a bad salesman.

The dirty blonde sat himself across from Jeno, noticing once again the troubled look on his features. The kid gave a supporting smile in his direction to which Jeno barely even noticed.

"You're gonna be fine, Mr. Lee. Don't sweat it."

The words should've been comforting, but it didn't help Jeno in the least. He just threaded both hands through his hair as he groaned in frustration.

"I messed up. I don't know how I'm going to live with myself if something bad happens to that WY company and the people under it," Jeno said in a slight whine while eyeing the pancakes again, deciding that taking a couple bites wouldn't hurt.

Chenle sighed and gave a deadpanned look. "It's not your fault, it's your company's. You're technically being held hostage by them."

It wasn't wrong, but he still wanted to change the truth of it all.

Jeno bit his lip as he stood from the table, wiping his mouth off while the half eaten pancakes still laid there untouched.

"I must get going. Also, if you go and see your friend again today, please be home by 8. I need some laundry done tonight," the dark haired said, continuing his walk to the front door.

Chenle handed him his suitcase once more with a scowl on his face. "You're a grown man, do it yourself."

"And your my butler, so do your job," Jeno smiled and walked out the door, causing the younger to whine loudly with that high pitched tone of his.

Jeno arrived at work and immediately visited his boss, needing to know updates on anything and news for any new customers.

When he walked into the office, though, he was met with an unexpected sight. It was the man from the meeting a couple days ago, standing with his eyes scrunched as his head snapped to the door that Jeno had just opened.
