The time was around 10am when the man finally arrived at the house, taking in its beautiful structure and the vast nature of it. The garden looked to be kept in good shape, except for the slowly dying plants as the seasons switched over.
Tires rolled harshly against the curb of the driveway, bumping the car slightly as the man slowly hit the breaks. He faced the garage door and contemplated something in his mind. His encounter at the bathroom in the gas station left him confused, wondering how those two came into play with all of this.
He stepped out of his vehicle, closing the door and locking it once so that it didn't make an obnoxious honking sound. He slowly trudged up to the front door, looking around curiously before landing his eyes on the entrance. His feet stopped, hesitating for a moment before he knocked on the door.
A minute passed, still no answer. Two minutes passed, still no answer. Five minutes passed, still no answer. The man looked at his ticking wrist watch and sighed in annoyance, about to knock again until the door slowly creaked open.
"Who's there- Yukhei?" the monster with honey hair appeared in the doorway, a little shocked to see the man standing there, but nonetheless kept a stoic expression.
"Mr. Na. Where have you been?" Yukhei asked and lowered his hand, giving him a stark look. "You have a business to run, you know. And I'm still expecting my payments."
His boss gasped and pretended to be shocked. "My apologies, I've been so busy lately that I completely forgot," he fake laughed and rested a hand on his forehead, acting as innocent as possible.
Yukhei only raised an eyebrow, giving him a look that said he wasn't tolerating anything.
The monster saw the look and stopped his facade, resting into a neutral face and opening the door wider. "If you are so bothered, then feel free to come in."
The man in the doorway liked the sounds of this better, so he nodded and carefully made his way into the door, listening as the other closed it behind him. He turned and faced Mr. Na who gestured towards the living room. "Please, be my guest. Would you like a drink?"
Yukhei shook his head and observed the interior, taking a moment to breathe in the new scent of the home. "I'm alright, but may I ask why you are residing at your secretary's house?" he turned and looked at the boss, the monster stopping in his tracks while coming up with an answer.
"We're in a relationship. I recently moved in, but we have been dealing with some issues," the honey haired explained, then firing a question right back at him. "How did you know where to even find this place?"
Yukhei laughed and shrugged his shoulders. "I have my ways. And Jeno might have given me his information the moment we sealed the contract. I just happened to dig it out of my paperwork whilst growing inpatient as I waited for you."
