While trapped in the darkness you may say to yourself: why me? Why did my eyes have to lie, fooling me into trusting something unknown and frightening? Why does the light slowly fade away, getting further and further from my grasp as the black out swallows me whole?
To answer it simply, darkness is just a figurative notion to represent remorse and defiance towards yourself and others. The darkness does not exist, and is only an illusion created by what surrounds you. This whole time you've been walking down a darkened path, the light was secretly at your heels and beckoned for you to simply turn around.
Eyes lie to you, and they continue to lie and tell us false information. Sometimes there are things in the world that are unseeable, almost unrealistic that fly over our heads like useless information.
When you find yourself seemingly lost, footsteps still echoing through the endless tunnel, open your eyes a little and accept the light secretly surrounding you.
Because even when you may not realize it, there is always someone waiting for you.
