Wiping the blood that had finally stopped pouring out of his nose, Jeno lunged towards the monster that looked like Jaemin, but was certainly not him. He yelled and swung a fist, landing the hardest punch he could muster right onto his shocked expression.

The monster went flying and the dark haired man quickly leapt over him, coming face to face with Nana who's expression was stunned but also relieved.

Nana's hands quickly went to Jeno, one hand grabbing onto the back of his shoulder and the other on the front of his chest as he pulled the man close. Jeno glanced in his direction, giving him a gentle smile despite the blood on his lips. Something flipped in the honey haired's chest, giving him the slightest bit of hope that this meant Jeno had an idea. Not to mention how grateful he was that the man was up and moving again, he frightened him quite a bit while he remained unconscious for however many minutes.

Jeno grabbed Nana's hand that was placed on his chest, removing his grasp and quickly holding it tightly. Nana's hand was so cold and clammy at the moment, covered in dirt and god knows what else. But that didn't matter to Jeno, because all he could focus on was the present and how to get out of this.

The dark haired monster flipped over Mark, slamming him to the ground and facing Taeyong, doing the exact same. Chenle used everything in himself to ignore his injured eye, and once more ran towards the light haired monster. But the winged creature didn't want anything to do with him, especially because of his throbbing face, and he launched the butler across the room and into a random side table.

Jisung was already on the floor, looking to be in the same state that Jeno was in only minutes ago which caused alarm. Donghyuck was huddled in a corner, breathing heavily and holding his right arm as Yukhei tried to assist him.

No, this was too much, he is causing harm to others when this is something they have to deal with.

Before anyone could think of attacking again, Jeno bellowed loudly.

"Stop!" He said, causing all the attention to finally land on both him and Nana. The monsters eyed them and smiled, both walking over slowly to crowd them against the wall. "Stop attacking... that'll never work..."

"What's the matter, Jeno? Causing harm to others once again is not something you enjoy?" his monster said with a toothy, sarcastic smile.

"Shut up," Jeno retorted, but it wasn't loud or harsh. It was calm, almost as if he was at peace with himself. The monster stood up straight and furrowed his eyebrows, wondering why the words didn't hurt.

Nana pushed himself into the back of Jeno, the older knowing he was threatened since there was nothing holding the monsters back from doing whatever they pleased. Jeno squeezes his hand in reassurance, trying to tell him subconsciously that he wouldn't let anything hurt him.
