"Look, I don't even know who you are," Jeno said nervously as he reached out for Taeyong's arm that was still held towards the mirror.
Jeno gripped the man's wrist and it caused the pink haired to fume with anger, violently jerking his hand away and pushing the other back forcefully.
Taeyong gritted his teeth and tried to calm himself. He was getting angry for no reason when there was a simple cure for all of this that would work in both of their favors. "Tell me, and I can tell you a way to get Nana out of there."
Those words were enough to make Jeno's ears twitch, his mouth parted slightly and his defensive stance slacked. "What... what do you mean?"
Taeyong glared again and crossed his arms. "Stop playing stupid. You know damn well who Nana is. And I suggest you answer my questions or I'll do the exact opposite of helping you."
Jeno huffed in and out as his eyebrows folded themselves together. Was he to really trust this man, who was working for his boss, just to hear a way to get Nana out that could possibly be untrue? "How do I know you aren't lying about getting him out?"
The pink haired man thought for a moment, then took a couple steps towards the mirror which made Jeno jolt out of his skin, reflexively reaching for his sleeve to protect the object. But he missed the fabric and watched his hand land softly on the glass.
His fingers slowly melted through with a faint glow, just like how Jeno manages to do so. Jeno's dark eyes widened as his cheeks paled. So he wasn't the only one able to cross after all.
"How... how can you do that?" Jeno asked while in some sort of daze, wondering just where Taeyong came from and why he knows all about this.
Taeyong laughed and shook his head. "I've been doing this a lot longer than you have, Jeno."
Jeno stared defeatedly at the other as he pulled his arm back out. The dark haired wasn't a hundred percent sure, but he couldn't see signs of Nana through the mirror that was allowing Taeyong's hand to slip through.
"And you promise me to tell the truth if I tell you everything I know?"
Taeyong nodded his head, keeping a serious face as he held out a hand. Jeno hesitated, but took the hand in his as he shook on it. And as if it was any other time that he was making a deal with another company or a new employee alike, he began his bargain of the deal.
"I'm able to get through when me and Nana put our hands on the glass at the same time, and it causes me to melt through like you do. I have no idea why, but I found that I was the only one able to do that under those circumstances. Supposedly," Jeno explained and sat himself on the piano bench, feeling like it took too much effort to stand at the moment.
