Rebecca and Colby got to the hospital and were immediately given a room. Rebecca however was on 4 cm dilated and it was going to be a little bit before the twins would be born.
Nurse: Ok we got your files shiped from Davenport and it says you requested the Epidural if you went with natural birth let's see if they are in position to do that.
Rebecca nodded and they were in perfect position for Rebecca to give birth naturally. The doctor came in every hour and after 4 hours Rebecca was finally 10 cm and was ready to deliver. It is, at this point, 6am and after another 30 minutes Lauren was born first at 6lbs 4oz and 17 in long and then came her brother Colby Jr. at 5lbs 9 oz and 16 in long.

Rebecca held Colby Jr. while Colby held Lauren and they instantly knew they were in trouble cause Lauren wouldn't calm down without Colby holding her and Colby Jr. is the same way with Rebecca. They had them wrapped around their fingers and honestly they don't care. Now Colby didn't care about sharing his birthday because he had his babies. Rebecca fell asleep after 7 grueling hours of labor and pain. Which was just fine with Colby he didn't want to sleep he wanted to stay up and just look at the two miracles he help bring into the world and couldn't wait to see their first steps, hear their first words which he knew Lauren's would more than likely be "Da-Da" and CJ's would more than likely be "Ma-Ma" he held Lauren who snuggled into his chest and CJ was fast asleep in the bassinet next to Rebecca's bed. Colby fell asleep with his daughter in his arms.
