Chapter 38

Rebecca walks down stairs and sees her beautiful babies sound asleep in their bassinets and Colby is laying on the couch completely out. She lays down next to him and he instantly wraps his arms around her and she wraps them up with a blanket and then 10 minutes later they hear 2 tiny cries as CJ and Lauren wake up. They laugh as they just got comfortable. Colby groans as they both get up. Colby grabs Lauren and Rebecca grabs CJ.

Colby: Well this is our life now.
Rebecca: Yep. Wouldn't change it.
Colby: Me either. Steph and Hunter came by and basically said that we can take as much time as we need and that if you want we can bring Lauren and CJ to a Raw sometime because I know you miss your Horsewomen girls and the rest of the locker room.
Rebecca: And what did you tell them?

Colby gulped knowing his next answer would mean the difference between life and death.

Colby: I told them that I would talk to you because you need to have a say so in this.
Rebecca: Good answer. Now what did you really tell them?
Colby: Fine, I told them that we would think about it.

Colby almost started apologizing but Rebecca laughed and kissed him. At first he was completely confused but what she said next floored him.

Rebecca: I would love to bring them to Raw sometime. But next time talk to me first then get to back to them. By the way nice scared face. You forget the baby monitor we have in every room.

Colby starts laughing realizing she heard the entire conversation between him and their bosses.

Colby: Sorry, Babe. I forgot about those monitors. Well we got time since thing 1 and thing 2 fell asleep. Why not play some WWE 2K20 and see if you can hang with The Man.
Rebecca: Colby, Baby, you should know I am The Man now.
Colby: Prove it.
Rebecca: Is that a challenge? Ok Mr. Lopez wanna put your title where your mouth is
Colby: Oh a bet. What's the wager?
Rebecca: Your Universal Championship against my Raw Women's Championship.
Colby: Challenge accepted.

About halfway through their game Colby is on the losing end and he knows his Universal Title is on the line. He tries battling back but Rebecca locked in the Dis-arm-her and he tapped out and lost. He went upstairs to their trophy room which had her titles and memorable moments on one side and his on the took a the drill and took down his title and brought it down stairs and did the traditional Up Up Down Down title change ceremony. He knelt presented the title and and put it around her waist with a kiss on the cheek.

Rebecca: So wanna chance to win it back?
Colby: Maybe tomorrow I am tired why dont we take these two to our room and get some sleep we are gonna need it.

She pecked his lips and picked up Lauren, big mistake, she screamed immediately and handed her to Colby and instantly she calmed down and snuggled into his chest.

Rebecca: How?!

Colby just laughed and he figured out a way for her to hold Lauren without her screaming. He went and hand her to Rebecca and then wrapped his arms around both of them and Lauren settled and snuggled into her chest. Rebecca was finally able to hold her Baby girl without her screaming and crying and she kissed her head and the baby smiled a bit and it melted both Colby and Rebecca's hearts.

Rebecca: Thank you.
Colby: She just needed some Mommy-Daughter time with you.

With that he picked CJ who gave him no fuss and they walked up stairs placed them gently in their bassinets carefully making sure not wake them up, then crawled into bed.

Colby: Good night, Red.
Rebecca: Good night former Universal champ.
Colby: Ok, that's cold.
Rebecca: I love you.
Colby: I love you, too, first Women's Universal Champ
