Chapter 61

Gender reveal party. Ashley was in charge of the party. Rebecca secretly wanted a boy to name after her late father. She thought back to her promise she made for him.

-Flashback-

Rebecca woke up in the middle of the night and saw her father was awake in his hospital bed.

Rebecca: Dad?
Ken: I am awake babygirl.
Rebecca: I have been thinking if I become pregnant again and it's a boy I promise his name will be Kenneth Lopez. After his grandfather who loves him even though he will never meet you. I promise I will tell him all about you and how I was a wild child growing up and how you and mom still loved me even though I pursued my dream of being wrestler.
Ken: One more promise. Don't make the same mistakes I made when I was married to your ma. Don't push Colby away, keep as close to your heart as possible.

Suddenly she felt Colby wrap his arms around her. They must have woken him up.

Rebecca: Colby how much of that did you hear?
Colby: All of it. Our next baby boy will be named Kenneth Quin Lopez. I will make sure she honors that promise, Pop. She is stuck with this dork forever. I am not going anywhere ever. I made a vow to her I plan to stick to it. I put those rings on her finger as symbol of my everlasting love to her.
Ken: Thanks, Colby. You know a father is never happy when their little girls grow up and they try to push the guys they are dating away. But you are perfect for her I see the way she smiles when you are with her. The her face lights up when your name comes up. Just keep those promises and keep her happy that's all I ask.

They both nod and Ken goes back to sleep and they cuddle on the couch and doze off themselves.

Ashley brings the box down which has ballons in it and she tells them to get to one side if you think it's a girl and to the other if you think it's a boy. The WWE get to girls side and Colby's family gets to the boy's side. The count began 3.......2.......1 and they opened the box and the Baby Lopez #4 is a....... BOY! Rebecca jumped for joy before crying tears of joy.

Holly: Have you thought of a name yet?
Colby: Kenneth Quin Lopez after Rebecca's late father Kenneth Quin.
Rebecca: For those who are wondering I made a promise the night before he died that I would name my next son after him. So when Colby just said Kenneth Quin Lopez tears filled my eyes it was perfect. Steph, Hunter while you guys are here I have to surrender my Raw Women's Title again but its well worth it.

She hands them the title. But what Colby does next shocks her.

Colby: Hunter, here I will be home with her throughout this pregnancy. The thought of being on the road of she goes into labor isn't something I want her to go through.

He hands Hunter his Universal title.

Hunter: This isn't necessary, Colby.
Colby: But it is. I am her husband and a father first. I have to think of my family. For now Ken, Lauren, CJ, and Rebecca are my first priority. They need me and I need them.
Hunter: I understand, jobs come and go but your family that's forever.

The guest left and Rebecca and Colby sat on the couch as Holly kept the twins that night so they could have time to themselves.

Colby: We are having another baby.
Rebecca: We are. I can't wait.
Colby: Me either. Three kids wow. And yet back in 2014 and 2015 I didn't want kids. But once you said yes to go out with me I could see that part of my life with you.
Becky: I love you.
Colby: I love you too, Red. And I love you, little love.

They fell asleep on the couch and Colby grabbed a blanket wrapped them up.
