MY FOOTSTEPS GOT faster as I continued to pace around my hotel room. I fiddled with my fingers, my heart pulsing incredibly fast. Sweat built up in the palms of my hands, causing me to rub them on the surface of my floral dress. I cursed under my breath before grabbing my phone off of the counter, my fingers frantic as I dialed a number. I held the phone to my ear, sitting down on my bed.

"Hello?" A voice spoke through the phone after two rings.

"Jin! What are you doing right now?" I asked, mentally praying he was free.

He paused, responding shortly after, "I'm relaxing with Kook and Hoseok before the movie tonight. Why, what's up?"

I let out a sigh, before standing onto my feet, "Can you come to my room? I need your help."

I held the phone close to my ear, waiting for his response. The sound of shuffling footsteps rang through the phone. Jin's worried voice spoke through the phone, "Is something wrong? Are you hurt?"

"No, no. I'm fine, well - just nervous. I just need advice is all," I responded, raking a hand through my hair.

"Alright. I'm on my way."

I grinned, nodding as I spoke, "Okay, thank you."

With that, I hung up the phone. I threw it onto the bed, before opening the glass doors to the balcony. I gripped the railing tightly, taking deep breaths. I was beyond nervous, regretting the fact I even made the choice I did. My knuckles turned white, my palms getting sweaty.

After last night, I decided to confess to Taehyung today. I had no idea what came over me to do so, but my confidence increased from last night. I was finally taking Jin's advice, I wasn't letting time run out on me anymore. I decided I was going to tell him, once and for all. I was frightened of the outcome of the situation, the idea of facing Taehyung making my heart pulse faster.

A knock at the door took me out of my thoughts, my feet immediately running to the door. I placed my hands on the door, bracing myself after running too fast. I backed up, taking another deep breath before opening the door. Jin looked up from his phone, a smile plastered on his face at my appearance.

Jin's attire was purely monotone yet simple. He wore a pair of black skinny jeans complemented by a gray hoodie and a black, oversized bomber jacket containing a few crimson red details on the sleeves and pockets. To top the outfit, he wore a black baseball cap and a pair of white sneakers.

"You said you needed my advice?" Jin asked, cocking an eyebrow at me.

I nodded, turning around the walking back into my room. Jin followed behind, shutting the door behind him. He laid down on my bed, legs folded over one another as he watched me, "So what's wrong?"
