"HOW LONG ARE they going to take?" Jaehyun groaned out, leaning his head back against the seat.
I glanced away from my phone at him, rolling my eyes at his behavior, "They'll be out in a few, just wait."
I continued to play a game on my phone, patiently waiting for Jieun and Jimin. She invited me to hang out with her at the shopping mall with Jungkook and Jimin today. I decided to go, considering how bored I was, sitting at home on a Saturday. Besides, Jungkook would kill me if I left him alone with them. Bear in mind, he hates feeling like a third wheel.
My parents wanted me to take Jaehyun with us since she didn't want him to be home by himself. I didn't have any problem with letting him hang out with us. And from what I know, he didn't really mind either. Jaehyun was a naturally relaxed person, meaning that he naturally got along with people.
"You're already on level 30? No way!" Jungkook exclaimed beside me, leaning towards me to peek at my phone, eyes wide in shock.
An amused smile formed on my lips, "I'm just that good."
He rolled his eyes, raising his voice higher as he mimicked me, "I'm just that good."
Jaehyun and Jungkook burst into laughter after Jungkook's awful imitation of me. I elbowed Jungkook in the rib, causing him to laugh even harder. His nose scrunched, big bunny teeth in full view. His laughter got louder whenever he laughed harder, the sound never failing to bring a smile to my face.
It wasn't long before Jimin and Jieun exited the store, a small shopping back in Jieun's hand. We all stood up at their presence, debating on where our next destination was.
"Do you guys want to go get some food at the food court?" Jimin asked, raising an eyebrow at us.
I turned to Jaehyun, my arms crossed over my chest, "Didn't you say you wanted to check out a pair of shoes or something?"
He shook his head, "Yeah but we can go after we eat. I'm kinda hungry."
With that settled, the five of us made our way to the food court. Jimin and Jieun trailed ahead of us, while Jungkook, Jaehyun and I stayed at the back. While on the way there, Jungkook was pulling out various items of clothing in his bags, showing me all of the things he bought. I smiled at him, noticing how bright his eyes got when he was excited about something. Once he was done, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I opened my phone, frowning at the text message.
tae: hey, I'm bored. wanna hang out?
My heart ached at the message, my mind trailing back to what he told me at school yesterday.I sighed softly, quickly typing a response.
me: I can't today, sorry
tae: that's okay :) maybe next time
"Hey, you okay?" Jungkook questioned, glancing at me with worry. I put my phone back in my pocket, a heavy feeling weighing in my heart
