Chapter 27 - Ana

Davien Fondevilla

ANASTACIA Matienzo. Our resident biologist na science partner ni Waltz Dela Merced. Big Boss hired several members of our organization. All of us are trained to use guns, but members like Waltz and Anastacia are more on office jobs.

Anastacia was Hunter Robson's ex-girlfriend when they were in their teen years. They lasted for a few months before finally breaking up. I don't know much about their relationship, but judging how Hunter treats Nika, I think he just courted Anastacia to make Nika jealous.

Few years ago, I met Anastacia sa isang mission. Something happened between us, a one-night stand. It is a one time affair that I do not want to repeat ever again. Kahit break na sila ni Hunter noon, I felt guilty afterwards.

Anastacia did not stop there, but she tried to call me late at night. Madalas we are flirting on the phone at nauuwi sa kung saan 'yon. Ang isang beses na sex on phone ay naulit pa ng ibang beses. It is like we can both release our heat without physical connection.

It is an exciting and thrilling episode to have a carnal moment via phone, but I felt a total sense of incompleteness afterwards. Anastacia can fulfill my desires, pero walang impact. I will be back to the same Davien Fondevilla who is empty inside after our phone sex.

This is the first time na makikita ko uli si Anastacia after all of these years. She frankly asked me to spend the night with her at hindi ko inaasahan na nandoon si Daniella.

Bakit hindi ko siya naramdaman? Ninja moves din pala si Daniella!

She must have heard me speaking using my real voice. She even knows my real name now. I was not careful. I blew up my cover because of Anastacia.

Daniella is a reporter and a journalist. She might have an idea that Hunter and Nika's wedding is just a scheme. I need to use my Davina self in dealing with her. I can't let her know that I am a real man.

"Dany, darling. Where are you going?" tanong ko sa kanya habang hinahabol ko si Daniella palabas ng event hall.

"Magpapahangin lang," she coldly said without looking at me.

Shit, she knows something....

"Dany, can we talk?" tanong ko sa kanya nang pumasok siya sa elevator.

She pressed the roofdeck button kung saan nandoon ang swimming pool ng hotel. I don't know exactly where she is going, but I need to follow her until I sorted this out.

"Wala ako balak makipag-usap sa'yo, Davina! Bakit 'di mo kausapin si Anastacia? I bet you will have fun with her!"

She is supposed to be mad at me for pretending to be gay, but why do I feel like she is being jealous with Anastacia?

We remained quiet sa loob ng elevator. Hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko sa kanya. Sa buong buhay ko, ngayon lang ako kinabahan ng ganito. I want to kick myself for acting this way.

Geez, Davien! You are fucking assassin! Bakit ka kinakabahan kay Daniella?

Lumabas si Daniella ng elevator and I followed her sa roofdeck. She does not look delighted, she looks so angry, probably with me.

"Darling, Anastacia was part of my life when I was still a man. Nagising na ako sa katotohanan. Ayoko na ng babae!"

"Why are you explaining these things to me? Ano ba sabi ko? Hindi ba ayoko na makausap ka?"

This time, she stopped walking and looked at me. She is angry and yet she looks sad na parang iiyak.

"Dany, may problema ba tayo?" nag-aalala ko na tanong sa kanya.

"Ikaw ang problema ko, Davina! Pusong babae ka ba talaga or nagpapanggap ka lang?"

Buti na lang at walang tao sa swimming pool area dahil umeecho ang boses ni Daniella sa buong floor. It seems na kaming dalawa lang ang nandito sa pool area.

"Darling, mukha lang akong lalake, pero lalake din ang hanap ko. Hindi ko ipagpapalit ang talong sa kahit anong pechay."

"So are you telling me that you are gay?"

"How can you even doubt me? Babae ako sa puso at sa---"

I stopped midway when Daniella stepped forward and cupped my face. Within seconds, I can feel her lips brushing mine. For weeks, I have been longing to kiss her and now that this is happening, hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko.

Oh shit shit shit! I can't kiss Daniella! This will be a problem, I need to push her away!

My mind is decided that I will push her away, but an unknown force is controlling me right now. I found myself wrapping my arms around her waist. I kissed her back with equal passion. Lahat ng tinatago kong emotions para kay Daniella ay lumabas sa mga oras na 'yon. Ichiro will kill me for this, but I don't care. I want to be with her right now.

Hugging her and kissing her is like an absolute happiness to me. It is like lahat ng hinahanap ko ay nasa akin na sa mga oras na ito.

Biglang bumitaw sa akin si Daniella and before I can think of anything, isang sampal ang dumampi sa pisngi ko.

One thing is for sure. Daniella knows that Davien is indeed a man...
