Chapter 23 - Panic

I PANICKED when I found out that Daniella is no longer within my radius. Nagmadali akong pumunta sa Tagaytay para sundan siya at hindi ko na naisip na magdala ng baril.

I am highly-skilled assassin. Members of our team admired me for being professional and competent. Palagi akong prepared sa mga mission at first time ko sumablay ngayon dahil sa pag-aalala kay Daniella.

Ichiro already warned me that Daniella's killer may send another batch of assassin after her. For days, we are monitoring Daniella's office and we confirmed that there is a foreign national who is lurking in the area. He is observing the office building from afar and from the lobby, but he never attempted to interact with Daniella. Though wala siyang ginagawang masama, malakas ang pakiramdam ni Ichiro na si Daniella ang pakay ng lalaking ito.

Hiniram ko kay Daniella ang kanyang mobile phone para magpadala ng back-up. There is a wide clearing malapit sa pineapple fields and a chopper can easily pick us up. It was Hunter who volunteered to rescue me, but since nasa Laguna siya, it will take him about an half an hour to reach us.

"Okay na, may susundo na sa atin dito---"

I stopped midway when I saw Daniella's bare body. She removed all her wet clothes and hugged herself in fetal position.

"Davina, sobrang lamig. Mas malamig kapag may damit. Baka gusto mo ko yakapin? We need body heat," nanginginig niyang sabi sa akin.

"Body heat? Sabihin mo, gusto mo ng chancing!"

Hinubad ko ang shirt ko at umupo sa tabi ni Daniella. Kahit ayokong gawin ito, mukhang tama siya at kailangan namin ng body heat. Mabilis naman niya akong niyakap dahil sa sobrang lamig. Her cold and soft skin is creating chaos in every fiber of my being.

"Gusto ko kapag natapos na tayo mag-sex, yayakapin mo ko. Ayoko 'yong parang cold treatment pagkatapos," bulong niya sa akin habang mahigpit na nakayakap sa akin.

"Ano pa gusto mo, besh? Ipapadala ko 'yan sa Wish Mo Lang."

"Gusto ko din hahalikan mo ko sa lips. Ayoko ng puro fuck fuck lang. Gusto ko erotic and romantic at the same time."

"Libre naman mangarap, Dany. Ano last wish mo? Baka maisipan ko maging fairygod mother at pagbigyan ko ang kalokohan mo."

"Lastly, gusto ko sasabihan mo ko ng mahal mo ko. You can also say I Love You while you are fucking me. That would be romantic."

"Kahit nga I love you to fuck you ay hindi kaya ng powers ko sabihin sa'yo. Saan mo ba nakukuha ang idea na papatulan kita? Geez, Dany. Nahamugan ba ang utak mo?"

Hindi na kumibo si Daniella at napansin ko na nakapikit na siya. Mukhang napagod sa kakatakbo namin kanina.

For the first time in my life, I started to care to someone outside our organization. Daniella became an important part of me, someone special, someone dear to me. She screwed up my peaceful life and I am very much happy that she did, but I am afraid she will hate me once she finds out what kind of monster I am.
