Awsten's P.O.V

It's about 10 in the morning and I'm sitting on the couch in the lounge, Jawn editing pictures from the night before next to me.
Audrey slowly walks in, looking very tired.
"Good morning." I tell her.
She simply nods back, sits at the table and opens her phone, clearing her notifications. Or something. I decide that now would be the right time to eat something, since I'm getting kind of hungry.
I get up and open the cupboards.
"Granola bars and water. Yummy!" I sarcastically say. I point my granola bar to Audrey.
"Want one?"
She furrows her eyebrows.
"I think I'll pass, thanks."
"Understandable. We need to go grocery shopping ASAP." I say as I close the cabinet and sit in front of her, also checking my phone.
I look up from my phone for a split second and there she is, with a dumb smile on her face, typing really fast.
"Who are you texting? Your bOyFrIeNd? oooOooOo!" I say, trying to mess with her.
"Yea, I am." She says, not smiling anymore.
"Oh." I say.
There's a silence that settles between us, until she just bursts out laughing.
"I'm kidding! But your reaction was priceless.
PRICELESS!" She says in-between laughs.
Jawn starts laughing as well.
"Rude!" I declare with a dramatic shocked face.
"Worth it. But for real, I'm just texting my friend and she's being a crackhead."
"Whatever. Since I am not needed here, I am going to get changed."
"Alright."
I stop on my tracks and turn around, pretending once more to be offended.
"Weren't you going to get changed?" Audrey questions.
"Yes, but since you didn't say that I was needed I am going to stay here until I am."
"Ok, well, if you're not going to get changed, I am!"
And then she got up and left towards the bunk area. Jawn just laughed. Rude x2.

"Guess what time it is, losers!" I yell, walking in the lounge area (finally dressed).
"...showtime?" Audrey attempts.
"No. Grocery shopping time!"
"Neat." She says.
She gets up and walks over to where I'm standing, close to the door. We make eye contact.
"What?" She asks.
"That's what i was about to ask you?"
"Aren't we going grocery shopping?"
"Oh, I didn't think you'd want to come with."
"Yea I do! Grocery shopping!"
"Grocery shopping!"
"Grocery shopping!" She giggles.
"Ok now, we need another loser to come with. And if you're not that loser message me what you want."
Geoff and Otto turn to Jawn.
"Fuck no. I have work to do anyways." Jawn says, defending himself.
"Geoff is going." Otto says, quickly so Geoff wouldn't be able to do the same to him.
"Damn it." Geoff says.

"What does Otto want..?" Audrey asks as we walk through the aisles. "And Jawn?"
"Otto wants uhh..." I check my phone. "Cereals. Couldn't be any more precise. And Jawn wants the same."
"Real useful!" She laughs. "Where did Geoff go?"
"I don't know. Probably somewhere with minions."
"Haha. Funny." She says.
"Must be since it's making you smile!"
"Because it's dumb!" She says as she looks over my shoulder. "Oh, oh yeah. Now that's funny, Geoff."
I turn around to see Geoff holding a giant jar of pickles. Dis. Gus. Ting.
"EW WHAT THE FUCK GEOFF-" I half yell.
"This is my revenge for all the minion suffering you've ever done to me. We're getting it."
"Oooh, I like this brand." Audrey says.
I look at her is disgust.
"You like pickles?"
"Yea. They're good."
"Ew. Nasty."
She laughs, turns around a randomly picks two cereal boxes.
"Think this will do?"

I stop in front of the juice area, and put all my focus on the varieties of orange juice. I have to pick the best one. Audrey walks up to me and turns towards the many kinds of juices.
"If you had to pick one of these orange juices, which would you take?" I ask her.
"None. I'd probably pick this smoothie thing. It's really good." She answers, picking up a pineapple-coconut smoothie.
"Ok but if you could only drink orange juice, which would you take?"
She thinks for a second.
"One without pulp. Maybe this one? I don't know. I'm not a fan of orange juice. Or juice in general."
"Shake my head."
"Did you really say smh out loud?" She chuckles.
"Yea. I can't believe you don't like OJ."
I take a final look at all my options.
"I think I'm going to go with this one."

We decide to go use the self-checkout machines. Me and geoff head towards the same one, and Audrey goes to the one next to ours.
"What are you doing..?" I question her.
"Paying for my groceries?"
"There?"
"Yes..?"
"We could've payed for you."
"Yea Audrey, it's not a big deal. You owe us pizza anyways." Geoff chimed in.
"No, no. I'm paying for my own food. As if I was on my own. Plus, since I purchased it myself, you guys won't be allowed to take any. Hah!" She replies.
"Is that really why you're paying for yourself? So we won't take your food?" I say.
"It's one of the reasons. It's mostly because it's only fair that I pay for my own food." She smiles.
"I guess Canadians are nice after all!"
"Shut up." She says as she giggles and scans an item.

"We're back!" I yell, kicking open the bus door.
"Ok, stop yelling!" Otto yells back.
"SO OTTO. WE GOT YOU SOME STUFF." I scream, louder than before.
"OH YEAH AWSTEN? WHAT DID YOU GET?" He screams back.
"FUCKING FOOD."
"WELL NO SHIT. YOU WENT TO A GROCERY STORE."
"SO WE PICKED THESE CEREAL BOXES."
"Correction, I picked those cereal boxes! Anyone has a sharpie? I'm writing my name down on my stuff." Audrey chimes in.
"I helped you pick!" I say.
"Hmm, did you? Thanks Jawn!" She replies as she catches a sharpie Jawn threw at her.
"Whatever!" I say, throwing my hands up IN THE AIR LIKE I JUST DONT CARE. Sorry.
I sit down on the couch and put on my best pout. I look at Audrey while she writes her name down on stuff. It's the first time I got a good look at her since yesterday. She looks pretty. We make eye contact. Silence.
"You fucking baby." She says, shaking her head.
I stick out my tongue and pull out my phone.
