Awsten's P.O.V
I'm waiting for Audrey at the airport. I'm excited to see her again. I'm currently looking at the flowers from afar, debating on whether I should get her some or not. Pros: cute gift, shows that I care and that I'm happy to see her. Cons: She'll come home with it and my parents will get all weird and cheesy about it.
My phone dings.
Gracie: hey dingus. you should get her some flowers
Well, if I was looking for a sign, that was it. I go up to the little stand and take a pink and yellow bouquet of whatever flowers. They looked real cute. I send my sister a picture to get confirmation.
Gracie: perfect
I pay and go back to my spot. There she is, as pretty as always. I smile and walk towards her.
"Hey." I say.
"Hi! How are you?" She replies. How can she still be so cheerful after a flight?
"I'm good. Glad to see you again." I hug her.
"I'm also glad to see you."
"Ah, um, these are.. for you.." I hand her the bouquet and my face heats up.
"Thank you, I love them." She smiles and smells the flowers.
"Well then, let's go? Do you want me to carry your suitcase?"
"I'm good, thanks."
We wrapped our arms together (since both her hands were busy) and walked to my car."We're home." I half yell, closing the door behind Audrey and I.
"Hello Audrey! How are you?" My mom rushes in.
"Hello Mrs Knight, I'm good and you?" They hug.
"I'm great, thank you. And, please, call me Ginny."
"Got it. Hey Gracie!" She smiles and gives my sister a hug.
"Is it weird that we've met once and I still missed you?" My sister says.
"It's ok, since I missed you too." Audrey giggles.
"So you're the infamous Audrey?" My dad walks in.
"Yep, that's me." She nervously giggles.
"It's nice to finally meet you." He shakes her hand.
"It's great to meet you too Mr Knight." She smiles.
"Oh please, call me Roscoe."
"Sure thing."
"Now, Audrey, Awsten will get you settled in, but please come back fast so I can know everything about you!" My mom says.
"Mom."
"Awsten, if you had mentioned her before, I wouldn't have to do this!" She argues and Audrey chuckles.
"Fine, whatever! Come on Audrey."
"Oh, wait, Audrey, let me take these for you." Gracie takes the bouquet.
"Ah, thank you."
She is so cute! Ahhh!"So this is your room?" Audrey says, looking around.
"Uh, no, this is obviously the laundry room." I sit on my bed.
"Ha ha. You're so funny." She sarcastically says. "Where do I put this?" She points to her luggage.
"Anywhere on the floor, doesn't matter. Oh, would you rather sleep in the guest room?"
"I don't really mind either." She shrugs.
"Whatever makes you more comfortable."
"Well I don't... mind either..."
"You can stop repeating yourself, and you can sleep here. But if you change your mind, there is a guest room."
"Good to know." She smiles.
"Alright, let me give you a tour of the essentials. I'd give you a fully detailed tour but my mom is too eager to meet you for that, so."
She giggles. "Understandable.""Alright, so Audrey." My mom starts. "What's your last name?"
"You don't have to answer what you don't want to answer." I joke.
"Haha. It's Williams." Audrey answers.
"How are you parents?"
"They're good."
"Any ex-boyfriends?"
"Mom."
"It's cool. Just one." Audrey says.
"Just one? I'm surprised."
"Mom, don't be rude." I say.
"It's not being rude, it's just that she's so pretty I thought she'd have more!" My mom defends herself, causing Audrey to giggle. "So, you're from Canada? Where in Canada?"
"Quebec."
"Is it as cold as my son says? He always complains about it."
"It does get pretty cold sometimes, it's true."
"Why did you move to LA?"
"To live with my boyfriend, but then we broke up."
"So you moved out?" My mother questions.
"Yea, a little bit before tour." Audrey replies.
"Why did you guys break up?" My dad jumps in.
I look at Audrey. I don't know if she's comfortable enough for this.
"Well, I guess you could say our relationship was... toxic."
"That's a shame."
"I'm glad I'm not with him anymore, though. So it's a good thing."
"Is Awsten treating you well? He didn't give you too much trouble on tour, did he?" My dad continues and I blush a little.
"Not at all. He's great." Audrey looks down, also becoming a light pink.
"Good! Now, who's hungry?" My mom asks.
