Audrey's P.O.V

After walking around the park, Awsten and I walk back to the the car.
"So, where to now?" I ask.
"Hmm... I'm not sure." Awsten replies.
"Good plan." I joke.
"Only the best. Maybe a Christmas date wasn't the best idea, most places are closed."
"Mm. Well, I'm sure we can find something to do. It's just 1 anyways, we have plenty of time."
"Now that I think of it... do you like ice skating? I think the ice rink might be opened." He asks me.
"Sure, I'm down!"

Once inside, Awsten and I get skates and put them on. We carefully get on the ice and I desperately try not to fall.
"I thought you knew how to skate?" Awsten asks me.
"I do not, I only skated like, twice." I giggle as I wiggle to stabilize myself.
"Damn, I thought all Canadians knew how to skate. Don't you guys love hockey and stuff?" He says.
"Haha, funny. It's not like you're any better anyways!"
"Never said I was!" He holds his hands up, but as he does so he loses his balance and lets out a yelp.
"Careful! Ok, we can do this. It's just pushing, right? How hard can it be?" I say.
I give myself a few unsure pushes, moving my arms around to keep my balance. After a few more pushes, I start gliding forwards.
"Hey, I'm doing it! Look!" I tell Awsten, who's behind me.
"I'm looking!" He laughs.
I push a few more times. Then I notice I'm getting dangerously to the border.
"Ah shit! How do I stop?!" We're my last words before I hit the border and fell on my butt.
I hear Awsten laughing from behind me.
"Are you ok?" He laughs as he approaches me and stops himself on the border in a controlled manner.
"Yea," I say as I laugh, "but that's gonna leave a bruise for sure."
He puts out his hand to help me get up, but as I grab it and start attempting to get up, he falls next to me. We laugh even more.

"Well, that was fun." I say.
"Yea." Awsten replies. He pulls out his phone and checks the time. "It's about to be 3. Snack time?"
"Ooo, yes. What kind of snack?"
"Hmm... maybe..." he thinks. "maybe a hot chocolate?"
"Sounds perfect to me." I smile.
Today is such a perfect day.
