Audrey's P.O.V

I can't believe we have a show on Halloween night! I mean, it's definitely better than going to those lame parties I was forced into, but I'd honestly rather spend the night watching horror movies and eating too much candy.
"Guys!" Awsten yells out of nowhere.
"What?" Otto and I say in unison.
"We should dress up for tonight's show!" Awsten exclaims, quieter than before.
"Uhhh..." I say, looking around, waiting for someone to answer.
"Taking that as a yes. Let's go shopping!"
Jawn groans. "Even me?" He says.
"Yep!"

We look around Target. It had barely any costumes left. I picked up a plastic crown.
"You know what? That's my costume." I say, turning to the purple man.
"Just a crown?" He raises an eyebrow.
"No. I brought a dress on tour with me, so I'll wear that, my docs and the crown and call myself a punk princess." I shrug.
"Hm. Sure."
"I got myself the last link costume!" Geoff says, showing up in our aisle. I shoot him a smile.
"And look at what I've got!" Awsten says, picking up a minion costume.
"Oh god." I giggle.
"Nooo!" Geoff whines, making Awsten laugh.
"Fuck this, I'm taking a Mario costume." Jawn says.
"Oh! I'll get a matching Luigi costume!" Otto says, excited. Jawn sighs.
"I don't know what I should dress up as." Lucas says.
"Then be a princess with me!" I tell him.
He looks at me, then at the crown in my hand.
"Why not." He says, taking a crown.
"Can I be the minion princess?" Awsten asks.
"No, you wanted to be Geoff's nightmare, so stay as Geoff's nightmare." I laugh while he fakes a frown.
"Fine."

"Dude, this is going to be a killer group picture." Awsten says, handing a crew member his phone.
We all pose for the picture. Awsten thanks the girl and proceeds to send all of us the picture. It looks really nice. My costume is definitely the best though.
"Hey Aws, can you take a picture of me please?" I say, handing him my phone. I didn't realize I used a nickname on him until I saw a small blush appear on him face. Barely there, since he was already red from jumping and screaming earlier.
"Sure." He smiles.
I do a quick pose and he hands me my phone.
"Thank you, loser."
"Anytime!" He walks away, towards the bathroom.
I post it to my Instagram with the caption "My costume was for sure the best. Or at least the cutest. But Otto and Jawn had the cutest couples costume for sure. Picture by the one and thankfully the only @ awstenknight" I copy and pasted the caption onto Twitter.
@ awstenknight commented on your post: DAMN RIGHT I TOOK THAT PICTURE. JAWN BETTER BE THANKFUL I DIDNT FIRE HIM. MY SKILLS ARE FIRE. SADLY I CANT TAKE PICTURES OF MYSELF DURING THE SHOWS.
^@ audreywilliams: poor Jawn. Give him a break
^^@ awstenknight NEVER

Refreshing my Instagram feed for the millionth time, no new posts appearing. I sigh, probably a little too loudly. Everyone went to sleep already, so I'm bored as fuck. A notification goes down my screen. Oh, it's from everybody's favorite purple troll.

Awsten                                              Audrey

That was a big sigh
You ok??

Lmao yea, I'm just
bored out of my mind

Ohhh
More silent Mario kart?

It's Halloween, we should
watch a horror movie

Why not
You won't scream?

No, will you?

No
Alright I'll meet u in the
lounge bring compter and
headphones

Bring your headphones too,
I have a splitter

And with that I grab my computer, earbuds and headphone splitter. I hesitate on taking my phone but I leave it there, so I can be fully focused on the movie. As I get out of my bunk, awsten is also getting out from the bunk next from mine. I shoot him a smile and walk towards the lounge, putting my stuff on the table. I go back to my bunk and grab my extra blanket (that I brought in case I got cold, it's very fluffy). Awsten is already sitting at the table and I scoot next to him, opening the blanket and giving him a corner so he can wrap it around him. It fit perfectly around us both.
"Holy shit, that's so soft." He says.
"Right?" I silently giggle.
I open my computer and open Netflix, starting to look in the horror section. We decide on "Would you rather". I've seen it before, but I didn't tell him since we took so long picking a movie, I didn't want to go through it again. Plus it's a pretty good movie, so I'm not complaining.
A while into the movie, I bring my knees up to my chest, trying to warm myself up. It was getting kind of cold. I started getting shivers, and I was lightly shaking. Awsten must've noticed that last bit, since he next asked me:
"Scared?" with a grin.
"No, just cold." I reply.
"Oh. Would you like to share body heat?" He asks.
"Why not."
We scoot closer to one another, that way I'm pressed up against Awsten's warm skin. It makes me blush a little, since I was very close to someone that I didn't even know that much yet, but it felt right, in some way. After a bit I was a little less shy about it, so I let my body relax more. My eyes got heavier. Then, darkness.

Awsten's P.O.V

Audrey fell asleep on my shoulder. I carefully took her earbuds out, so any loud noise wouldn't wake her, and tried to put myself in a more comfortable position, for both of us. My back was now pressed up against the wall, but not straight, just kind of slouched, her head half on my arm and half on my chest. I kept watching the movie. Said movie was reaching its end, when Audrey woke up, gasping. She tried sitting up very fast but hit her head on the table, and fell back on my chest, holding her forehead.
"Ow.. shit.." she whispered after a few seconds of rubbing her forehead, sitting up carefully this time.
"I-.. holy shit, are you okay?" I ask her.
She looks at me and lets out a small laugh.
"Yea, but that hurt like a bitch." She says, smiling.
"Alright, move, I'm gonna get you an ice pack." I say, as she scoots over to let me get off the seat. I grab a plastic bag and put some ice from the freezer in it, since we didn't actually have an icepack.
"Here you go." I say, handing her the ice bag.
"Thank you." She puts it against her head, letting out a small sigh.
We sit in silence for a bit, letting her recover from whatever just happened. I had questions. After about a minute or two, I speak up (in a quiet voice):
"So, what caused you to wake up like this?"
She blankly stares at the table, thinking about what to say.
"Nightmare."
"Because of the movie?" I ask with a very small smile.
"No. I actually saw it before."
"What! Why didn't you tell me?"
"Doesn't matter." She giggles.
"So, what was it about?" I say, hoping I'm not pushing the limits.
She puts the ice bag down.
"I don't think I'm ready to tell you yet." She says, water creeping up her eyes.
"Hey, don't cry, it's alright. You don't have to talk or even think about it, it's over now. You don't have to tell me." I say, reaching for her hand, cold from holding the ice bag.
She simply nods, trying to hold back the tears as best as she could. Unfortunately, she doesn't manage to and they fall out. I go sit on the other side of the table and take her into a hug. She doesn't hug back, but she puts her face in the crook of my neck, crying as silently as she can, trying not to wake the others. I rub circles in her back, whispering "shh" and "it's okay" every now and then. When she stops crying, she stays in my neck for a while, then backs out. She sniffs.
"Um, sorry about your shirt." She says, wiping her eyes.
"No worries." I shoot her a small smile.
We sit there, silent except for her occasional sniffles.
"Do you... do you think there's a way to have those nightmares appear less often?" I ask.
She shrugs.
"Maybe. I'm not sure."
She thinks about it for a bit, but then her cheeks become redder, only able to see because of the light coming from the computer screen.
"What is it?" I question.
"Uh, I think there is, but it's like, super dumb. And maybe, lowkey inappropriate." She lets out a small giggle after that second sentence.
"And that is..?" I grin.
"Well, after the event causing this bullshit, I was staying with a friend and we would cuddle, and I didn't have those nightmares during those nights. I don't know why."
"We can cuddle, if it'll help."
She looks at me with wide eyes.
"In a appropriate, friendly way! I promise I'm not a perv!" I say, laughing, causing her to laugh aswell.
"Yea, ok." She smiles.
We get up, she grabs her stuff and throws it (gently) into her bunk. We squeeze up in mine, making sure she took the wall side so she wouldn't fall (after making sure she wasn't claustrophobic). We cuddle up into a little ball, hoping I manage to make her feel safe. Whatever causes those nightmares, I hate it.

What a long chapter lmao. Hope you liked it tho! Make sure to vote if you do, that would mean a whole lot :)!! And then let me know if you have ideas for future chapters, since I don't have anything planned, I just go with the flow. I'm a chaotic writer, I guess. I'm just disorganized in general!
