Audrey's P.O.V

The show ended and we all headed to the Benny, where my parents already were (they left a little before the show ended to avoid the crowds. I entered first, looking around the restaurant and spotted my mom waving to me. I smiled and headed over there.
They spoke to me in French, but I'll translate it in my head for you.
"Audrey! Hi!" My mom stands up and hugs me.
"Hey mom. Hey dad."
My dad just fist bumps me from across the table. "What's up? How's tour?" He asks.
"It's fun." I simply reply.
"Nice, nice. Everyone's been nice to you I hope?" My mom questions.
"Yep." I smile.
"Is your boyfriend jealous you're on a bus with a bunch of guys all the time?" She smiles.
I look down at my unopened menu. "I couldn't know."
"How come?"
"We're not together anymore." What a great start to my night.
"Oh... I'm sorry." She says, opening her menu.
"Don't worry about it." I open my menu.
I flip the page and see what I've been craving for weeks: poutine. I send a pic of it to Awsten so he would know what to order.
"Why are you taking a picture?" My dad laughs.
"One of the guys on the bus wanted to know what it was." I smile.
I was facing the door of the restaurant and I saw them come in. I try not to smile too much. They get seated further behind us.
"So those guys that you're touring with, what's their name again? Waterpark?" My mom asks.
"Waterparks, yes."
"Nice people?"
"Yes."
"Where do they live?"
"Well, uh. Some in LA, some in Texas. I think that's all. Oh, and one in Ohio I believe." I say.
"Oo, LA. Which means you could be friends with them. Or more..." she giggles.
"Mom. I just broke up with my boyfriend, and I met these guys like two weeks ago. Calm down."
"I'm just saying."
I shake my head. My mom looks behind me.
"Isn't that..?" She squints. I have to get her attention.
"So! What have you guys been up to?"

I managed to make small talk all dinner to drive her attention from the bright purple hair behind us. It worked until we were finishing up and putting our coats on.
"Oh, I forgot to ask. Isn't that them over there?" She points to their booth.
"No." I lie.
"It is them."
"Maybe."
"Can I meet them?" She smiles.
"Mom, they're eating. Let them be. We have to leave soon so let them enjoy their off-bus time."
"Are you saying I'm not good company?"
"Not you, specifically. But dad..." I smile.
"I can hear you." My dad says.
My mom and I laugh.
"I'm going over there."
"Dad, no."
"I'm going." He starts walking towards their table.
I catch up to him and get in front of him. Awsten looks in our direction and as he sees that we're heading over there, he sits up straight.
"Guys."
"Hey Audrey!" Geoff says.
"These are my parents." I say. "Sophie and Vincent."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Awsten." Awsten hands out his hand and shakes my parents'.
"Jawn."
"Geoff."
"I'm Lucas."
"I'm Otto, nice to meet you."
My parents smile and nod.
"So, have you guys been taking care of our little girl?" My mom asks.
I facepalm and the guys laugh.
"Yes, we-" Awsten starts, but I interrupt him.
"Ok nice seeing you guys, I'll be back at the bus. See you later!" I push my parents away as they say their last goodbye.

Finally back at the bus. I'm going to miss my parents. Especially on holiday season. This will be the first time I'm not with them for it. I'm working on my computer when I hear the door unlock. Lucas walks in first, Jawn second, Awsten third, and so on.
"Ahhh, there's our little girl! Has the bus been treating you well?" Awsten laughs.
"Says the guy that sat up straighter than a pole when he saw them." I smirk.
"I think I made a great first impression. Gotta let them know their little girl is in good hands!" He smiles, plopping down next to me on the couch.
He looks at me. "You're not going to say anything?"
I turn to him, look at him in the eyes, and smile. Then I turn back to my computer.
"What does that mean?"
"That from all of us, you're the least safe right now." Otto says.
"Ding ding ding! 10 points for Otto."
"Lucas, are there any ways to lock a bunk curtain?" Awsten asks.
"Nope. Good luck." Lucas replies.
"Well, shit." Awsten says, causing me to giggle. "Is there any way I can stop you from doing... something... to me?"
"Hmm." I think. "There's a McDonalds down the street."
"You just ate dinner."
"I didn't get a dessert."
"Neither did I. I couldn't understand what they were."
"Brownie was the same on the menu." I giggle.
"Hush."
I put on my boots (I should also get some 'inside shoes', since they don't remove their shoes the floors nasty. My socks don't deserve this.) and coat and we head out of the bus, walking towards the big yellow M.
"Damn, I can't believe the first date you ask me out on is to get you a dessert from McDonalds."
I blush. "What can I say, even when it's winter, I love McFlurries."
We laugh. Today has been a good day. Except for the part when my mom mentioned Jason, I guess. But that's behind me now. I've got to cut him out.
