Waking up Kiba rubs his eyes. At first, he had forgotten where he is, but after a moment he remembers he had changed Zato, to a duel and lost. During the fight, he was rendered unconscious and Zato let him crash at his place for the night. Kiba gets off his bed and opens the door, leading to the rest of the house. Once the door is fully open Kiba sees Asia holding a small blue dragon familiar, with Zato close by looking at the creature.

"So this little bastard is your familiar?" Zato asks as he looks at the tiny dragon.

"Yeah, isn't he cute?" Asia asks as she hugs the dragon. "I named him Rassei," Asia says as the familiar looks at Zato with a glare.

"Keep looking at me that way, and I'll send you right back to that forest, you little shit," Zato tells the dragon, as the dragon looks away from Zato, his face still bearing no emotions. Zato looks away from the dragon and notices Kiba. "Well, look who decided to get his lazy ass out of bed," Zato states while crossing his arms.

"Sorry about that, but in my defense, you pack quite a punch," Kiba says with a nervous chuckle.

"So it's my fault you started something you couldn't finish?" Zato asks as Kiba looks down at the ground. Asia was about to speak, to tell Zato he's going a bit to fare. However, Zato spoke before her and what he had to say shocked her. "However I'll give you credit where it's due. You fought like a true knight and your spirit is one of a warrior. You have my respect there, but don't mistake that for friendship or trust." Zato says as Kiba looks at the red-eyed student in front of him with a look of pure shock. It's not a compliment in the broadest definition, but it's something and Kiba is gonna take what he can get.

"Um, Zato since we're on the topic of fighting, I want to ask you something," Kiba says as Zato merely rolls his eyes.

"If you're gonna ask me to train you, the answer is and always will be no," Zato tells the knight.

"No, no I wasn't going to ask for any form of training from you, but I am curious about how you did that after image technique in our sparring match yesterday," Kiba tells Zato

"All I did was time it correctly," Zato replies bluntly, and this response surprises the knight.

"You, timed it correctly?" Kiba questions

"The average person blinks every four seconds, whether it's consciously or unconsciously. You blink every five seconds, so during our charge, I timed my move to the moment you blinked. It's a blind spot every fighter has since everyone has to blink evenly." Zato explains

"So in a fraction of a second?" Kiba asks as Zato finishes his thought.

"I was able to get behind you and due to when I moved your mind had no idea I had even moved," Zato tells the knight.

"He's completely out of my league. He's stronger than me, more skilled than me, and his reaction time is much faster than mine. The only thing I have is my speed, but I'd say we're equal on that field." Kiba says within his mind. Kiba smiles as he looks at the delinquent. "I thank you for taking the time to fight me," Kiba says with a bow.
