Zato Cero a delinquent who attends Kouh Academy. He's admitting a strange energy which catches Rias' attention, however he's not so cooperative. He wants little to do with anyone and distances everyone that tries to get close to him, why?
As Kiba dodges another attack from the two catgirls Kiba looks to his right and uses his sword to block an attack from one of Riser's knights.

Kiba jumps back to create some distance and looks at the small nine enemies standing before him. "There's way too many for me to take out all on my own, plus I'm still not fully used to this new blade," Kiba tells himself as his grip on his blade tightens. "But what kind of knight would I be if I was to abandon my king and not fight till the very end," Kiba says with determination as three pawns jump at him. (The three pawns in the top row of the picture above).

"You're done, knight of Gremory!" The three pawns shout as they rush toward Kiba. As they rush the knight, Kiba smirks as he slams his hand on the ground. "Got you, Sword Burst!" Kiba shouts as the blades of multiple swords rocket from the ground, taking out all three pawns that were charging him.
However, as the blades fade away Kiba gets a right hook to his face by the masked rook. The punch itself is heavy and as a result, Kiba is sent flying toward his right. After hitting the ground Kiba tries to pick himself up but the same rook grabs him by the hair and lifts him up. "Nice job taking down Marion, Burnet, and Shuriya, but now you lose!" The rook shouts as she moves to slam Kiba's face into the ground.
Suddenly a rock flies straight into her face. Catching her off guard she drops Kiba and stumbles back as a small bit of blood trickles from her nose. Wiping the blood away from her nose she sees Koneko going for a right straight aimed directly at her stomach. The opposing rook blocks the attack and the two rooks clash.
"Just when I started to think a bit more of you, I see you lying face-first on the ground," Zato says as he walks out of the trees surrounding the school. "Though even if you're on the ground it doesn't change the fact you were willing to face superior numbers with everything you have, regardless of your chances of winning." Zato puts his hands in his pockets as he glances down at Kibe. "I don't know jack shit about knighthood or chivalry, hell I don't even know if that shit applies to you, but you're a pretty decent fighter and Rias is lucky to have you as a knight," Zato says much to Kiba's shock. "with that out the way break time is over. Get up!" Zato shouts at the knight who struggles to get back up on his feet.
"Did you just praise me?" Kiba asks with a small smirk as he finally gets to his feet.
"In a way, I guess I did. Though you're on a fine line, disappoint me in this fight and I'll take everything I just said right back." Zato explains as the two look at the two knights, two pawns, and one bishop standing before. With a quick glance, Zato sees Koneko and the masked rook going blow for blow, seemingly equally matched. Then his gaze shifts to Kiba. 'Ya know I think this is the first time I've ever fought with a partner by my side. You better not slow me down, got it?" Zato asks as he assumes his stance and his gaze locks on the five foes before him.
"Same goes for you," Kiba says as he grips his sword and the two rush toward their opponents. The catgirls move first and the two split off to Zato and Kiba separately and the knights do the same. The knight with the Zweihänder moves to fight Zato with the blue hair catgirl as her back up. The knight with the bandage on her head and the catgirl with pinkish hair move to fight Kiba as the kimono wearing Bishop takes a back seat in order to provide support.
