Delaney POV

I walked into STAR labs with Caitlyn and Cisco after we got slushies. Cisco was complaining about having to go to his brothers party, "And I really don't want to go", he told us. Caitlyn looks at him, "He's your brother, Cisco", she says scolding him. He rolls his eyes, "Not by choice", he whispers. She shrugs, "How bad can a birthday party be?", she says, clearly not having a sibling. Cisco looks at her, "My folks think that Dante's stink don't stink. Doesn't matter how much he screws up, or how many times he gets into trouble. In their eyes, he can do no wrong". I hold my cup out to him in agreement, "Preach", I say and we cheers in our misery.

Caitlyn looks at me, "What's wrong with you and Iris?", she asks confused. I sigh, "You know Barry and I went bowling last night and we saw Iris and Eddie there so she decided to crash our date and make lovey dovey eyes at my boyfriend. I know that she has feelings for him and I have a bad feeling about it". Caitlyn rolls her eyes and stands in front of us, "Okay, enough pity party. Delaney, Barry is so in love with you. He wouldn't do anything that would hurt you. And Cisco, what if I go with you?", she suggests. 

Cisco looks at her surprised, "Really?", he asks. She nods smiling, "Yeah. You've done so much for me lately, it's time I be there for you. Plus I'll get to look through old photo albums and see little Cisco without long hair", she jokes. He pulls a look on his face, "I'm rescinding your invite", he says before walking past. I laugh and link arms with Caitlyn as we keep walking to the cortex, "Please take pictures of Baby Cisco", I say and she nods laughing. 

We walk in to see Barry and my dad in there waiting for us with some mugshots on the screen, Clyde and Mark Mardon. Caitlyn looks at them, "Clyde Mardon has a brother?", she asks confused. Dr. Wells looks at the screen, "So both Mardon brothers survived the plane crash and then the dark matter released by the particle accelerator explosion affects them both in-"

"Virtually the same way", Barry says at the same time as him making the scientist shoot him an odd look. Barry looks at him, "Only Mark's not like Clyde at all. He can do things that you couldn't even imagine". Cisco starts smiling, "You mean he's sort of like a--"

"Weather Wizard", Barry again says with Cisco making him look confused. Cisco takes a slurp of his drink and winces, "Trigeminal headache?", Barry asks at the same time as Caitlyn. At this point, we all look at Barry confused at how he knew what they were gonna say before they said it. Dr. Wells looks at him, "Mr. Allen, a word please?", he asks, taking Barry to the other room. 

I looked at everyone confused, "What the hell was that?", I asked and they all shrugged at me.

Later, Barry and Dad went to the station to talk to Captain Singh about Mardon. Barry came back about an hour later with Mark Mardon and locked him in the pipeline. We all watching as he stood in the cell, screaming something about creating a tidal wave to destroy the city or something. Barry closed the door so that we didn't have to hear him anymore and took off his mask. I looked at him confused, "How did you know where to find him? We've never caught a meta this quickly". He smiled, "I just had a hunch", he says casually. Cisco sighs and starts walking away, "Well there goes my excuse for bailing on my brother's birthday", he complains as Caitlyn and I follow him. 

I laugh, "Come on Cisco, you can't avoid your family forever", I say. He looks back at me, "Watch me", he says and keeps walking making me roll my eyes at him. "Delaney, hey wait", I hear behind me and see Barry jugging to catch up with me, " I just wanted to talk about what happened last night". I sigh, "Barry, It's fine. Believe me, I know that you and Iris are close, you always have been. I just don't like feeling like a third wheel with you too, and I know Eddie isn't too fond of it too".
