After we decided to tell Cisco and Caitlyn about what we found on Dr. Wells, we decided that the best meeting place was our house when Iris was at work. Dad sent Barry to go get pizza which means that he's going to Coast City. Caitlyn was still really unsure about all of this but she was trusting Cisco. Eddie looked around, "Where's Barry?", he asked. Dad looked at him, "Oh he'll be here in a minute. I sent him out for--", he was saying but was interrupted by Barry speeding in, carrying four pizza boxes, "Pizza". Eddie looked at the boxes, "From Coast City?", he asked.
Barry smiled, "Supposedly the best in the west", he said. I looked over at Caitlyn while everyone was grabbing a slice, "You coming?", I asked. She shook her head, "I'm not hungry", she said, sitting alone on the stairs. Dad sighed, "So six months of investigating Harrison Wells has led us nowhere, so we're going back to the beginning to see what we can find out", he says looking at Cisco and I.
Eddie looks confused, "What does that mean?", he asks. Barry sits down in the armchair and I sit in his lap, "Dad, Cisco and I are going to Starling City", I tell him. Caitlyn looks confused, "Starling City? What for?". Dad looks at her, "To investigate the car accident that Dr. Wells was in with Tess Morgan 15 years ago", he said. She was still confused, "I don't understand".
Barry looked at her, "Dr. McGee said that after Wells' accident, be became like a complete stranger. Just a different person entirely", he said. Caitlyn gave him a look, "Because the love of his life died. You of all people can understand how grief can change a person", she defended. Dad sighed, "Caitlyn, we believe that Dr. Wells is the Reverse-Flash and killed Barry's mother, and he may have done the same thing to Tess Morgan. We have to learn everything we can about that night. See where it leads us", he says.
Cisco looks at her, "Oh, can you cover for me with Dr. Wells?", he asks hopeful. She shoots him a look, "You mean lie?", he doesn't respond so she sighs, "I need some air", she says and walks out the door. We all stood up trying to talk to her but she didn't listen to us. Dad gives Barry a look and he nods, "I'll talk to her", he says. Eddie looks at us, "So what do you want us to do while, you're gone?", he asks. I look at him, "Business as usual, we can't raise any suspicion about why we're gone", I tell him.
