The Silver Siren (Completed)

Team up part 1

Barry and I were on our way to a bank robbery but when we got there we saw people going crazy and attacking each other. We looked at each other confused but then saw a woman about to shoot some guy so Barry ran over and stopped the bullet with a metal sign. I decided now would probably be a good time to put my emotion power to use. I concentrated on everyone feeling happy and when I opened my eyes, everyone was back to normal. They looked around in confusion as to why they were attacking each other. Given that there were so many people in the bank, and that this was a newer power, I felt a bit weaker afterwards.

Barry rushed me to STAR labs so that he could go do his CSI thing. When I walked in Cisco smiled, "Once again another great save from The Flash and the new and improved Silver Siren. Speaking of which, we should see if you have more powers. Now I've been thinking and it might be possible that since you can create sound waves, maybe you have increased hearing. Like an echolocation of sorts". I nod, "So how are we going to test this?", I ask him. 

"I have asked our dear friend Caitlyn Snow to hide somewhere in the building and we're going to see if you can find her", he explains. I nod and close my eyes making myself feel the vibrations and sound waves of the building. I locked onto something and smiled opening my eyes, "She is on the first floor in the storage room". Cisco laughs, "Oh my god this is awesome!", we high-five, "This will really change how we fight criminals". 

A few hours later, Barry came back and debriefed us on what he found at the crime scene. "Anger, hate, aggression", Dr. Wells said. Cisco just had to jump in with a Yoda voice, "A jedi craves not these things", I rolled my eyes at his nerdiness, "No one is feeling that quote?", he sadly said. "Everyone in that bank went total savage. Thankfully Delaney was able to calm them down. Who knows what could have happened?", Barry says. 

"Anger can be a powerful emotion. If this meta-human can engender irrational feelings of anger in his victims, he can do a lot of damage", Dr. Wells explains. Caitlyn walks in with a flash drive, "Detective West helped me get a copy of the CAT scans the hospital did on everyone at the bank", she says plugging it in. I smiled, "Detective Dad for the win", I laugh making her smile. 

We look at the scans and see that there is a majority of red in the brain which doesn't look good. "Well look at this, the emotion centers of the brains are still showing signs of being overwhelmed", Dr. Wells points out. Caitlyn nods, "Particularly the area that controls executive function", I look at her confused, "The part of the brain that stops people from doing whatever random and potentially destructive thing that pops into their head". 

Barry gets a message on his phone, "Um I gotta go". Caitlyn shoots him a look, "Is the Flash off to another rooftop rendezvous with Iris?", she questions. He shrugs, "Yeah, but she probably just wants to ask me-- or him-- about metahuman stuff for her blog", he says and speeds off with a gust of air. I sigh and look down at the floor sadly, unfortunately Cisco notices, "Hey, it's okay. he loves you D. He's not in love with Iris anymore". I look at him, "He's been in love with her for our entire life. Those feelings don't go away quickly".

Thankfully there was a tracker hidden in the cash and we got a hit off of it. Barry met me at the warehouse and we saw Dad almost get shot at by another cop. Barry sped them out of the way and the cop was about to shoot again when he got shot in the leg with an arrow. Dad, Barry and I looked to the window to see everyone's favorite vigilante. He looked at Barry, "Nice mask", then he did some kind of ninja move and jumped out the ceiling. I looked at Barry, "I don't remember inviting the Arrow to the party". 

He laughed and sped away leaving me with Dad, "First he speeds away for Iris and now he's chasing after the Arrow". He stands up and looks at me, "Relax baby girl. That boy is crazy for you, I can promise you". I roll my eyes and walk away, "That's what everyone keeps saying but I'm not sure", I say then get on my bike heading back to STAR labs.
