We were all packed into a few cars, driving to a farmhouse that was so hidden that Savage wouldn't be able to find Kendra and Carter. Thankfully, Caitlyn and Laurel joined us so we had more brain power. We finally got there and Thea and I looked at the house as we stepped out, "A bunch of superheroes in a farmhouse? I feel like I've seen that in a movie", she said. I smiled at her, "You took the words right out of my mouth", I joked making her smile and link her arm with mine.
Oliver looked at us, "We need a secure location", he said. Caitlyn looks at him, "What's wrong with STAR labs?", she asked. Oliver shrugged, "Well, I mean absolutely nothing if you forget about the revolving door you guys installed so the bad guys can come and go as they please", he says. I roll my eyes, "Yeah, so what happened to your first two bunkers?", I asked sarcastically already knowing the answer.
Felicity turned, "Well lair number one was compromised by the police, and...", she trailed off as she saw the look on Oliver's face, "I'll stop helping", she said. We all walked towards the house, "Savage only let the three of us live because he felt Kendra start to emerge as Hawkgirl and went after her. He can sense her and Carter's presence. We don't need to make it easier on him by staying in the city limits", he explained.
I linked arms with Laurel who was next to Thea and I, "Bet you wish you stayed with your mom now", I joked. She laughed a little, "Debatable", she said smiling at me. We need to find a way to neutralize Savage's advantage", Oliver started just as Barry and Cisco walked in with their equipment, "Barry you're late", he said.
Barry sighed, "Sorry, turns out, it's not easy finding the ass end of nowhere", he joked. I rolled my eyes smiling at him and went up to kiss his cheek before walking away, "Better late than never", I said. Oliver looked at him, "We're discussing how to take away Savage's newfound power", he said.
"And his magic stick thing", Felicity added. I laughed a little, "It's called the Staff of Horus and it seems to be protected by some kind of energy field. Barry couldn't get near it", I said. Felicity shrugged, "Maybe wear mittens next time", she said, it sounded like she was joking but with Felicity you can never be sure. Caitlyn walked up along with Cisco, "What if we made some sort of insulated gauntlets", she suggested. Cisco nodded, "Oh, yeah, yeah, the magnetic shielding could disrupt the--"
"Staffs magnetic polarity", Felicity finished as the three of them went off to start working. Oliver looked at Barry and I, "Well, while the geek squad works--"
"Heard that, honey", Felicity interrupted making me stifle a laugh. He continued, walking with Barry and I to the kitchen, "While they work to get the staff away from Savage, we need to know everything there is to know about him", he said to the rest of us. Thea looked at him, "Well I googled reincarnated nut jobs and came up with nothing", she said. Carter walked in carrying a crate that looked too heavy for a normal human to carry on their own, "Kendra and I would be the reincarnated nut jobs, Savage is merely immortal", he explained.
