Forbidden Water

Chapter 33

Crusoe's pov...

Eventually her eyelids got separated and she looked at me with those solemn aquamarine eyes. I beheld those eyes, still pure,clear.

'Is it Crusoe? or I'm dreaming?', she asked in feeble shaking voice.

I cupped her face with my hands and suddenly stray tears appeared in her eyes; her sorrow hurts me very much. 'No Larissa, you are not dreaming. I am your lost friend Crusoe', I finally said, though I have an epic to tell her but i want to take it slow.

'Really',she slowly sat on the grass, 'But how did you come here? weren't you supposed to be a sailor?'

'I came here to collect wild spices; people say's this coast is sailors' dream, but now I believe incidents took me close to you', I blushed a bit, 'And you were always close to me heart even after our lessons ended'. I glanced at her only to see her turning brighter shade of pink !!

'But I could not accomplish my mission, Lisa is freed, Leo got her', suddenly her voice got thick ,'Why I'm such a looser?'

I cleared my throat,now I have to reveal everything, still she cares for Leo !! this already makes me mad!! 

'Baby, you are not a looser and don't act like that. Leo can't overshadow your life', I managed to say.

'What do you mean?'

'I bent water to shatter Lisa's aquarium to save her, because the whole Lisa and Leo thing was astraying my love.....', Oh no!! I shouldn't say the word 'love'.

'But Leo was cheating me, I should punish me', she almost shouted.

'Oh baby, just move on, be brave, don't cry at past relation's grave', I pleaded her earnestly taking her hands in between mine. And she looked at me,still a bit reluctant to give up.

'Did you know my efforts to teach them a lesson, but you ruined everything',she scolded me like mom scolding a little boy; I loved the tone.

'Often ruin is necessary to rebuild', I tried to be philosophic a bit.

'Crusoe I still have a confusion to clear', she pouted, 'How did you know I captivated Lisa and having a spat with Leo?'

'I met Eric and he told me everything. He even requested me to shun you from evil things', I stated finally. She didn't say anything but on seeing her face I knew everything is crystal clear to her now. A comfortable silence prevails now.

'Would you love to hang around here?', she asked after a while.

'Of course,as long as you are around' !!!!

She slapped on my hand and we started roaming.

Larissa's pov...

I am happiest person in the earth. The sky had never seemed so sky, water had never seemed so clear,the river is more placid lately than ever. And waters of every corner seems celebrating themselves with us. I'm smiling, frolicking, dancing,cavorting with Crusoe; his eyes are glistening like dew drop on petal. All the chords of my heart are bursting with hilarious noises. My life pot is brimming with perfumed water of love! I let Leo go very jovially.

'Love, let's go, I want to show you my ship', he announced.

'Your ship? you own a ship?'

'Oh not only mine,my friends are there with whom I voyage. And the ship is important portion of my life......', he stopped seeing my face shadowing with uncertainty. If sailing is his life how could he accompany me?

'What happened? are you okay?',he asked.

'Yeah !! but don't you think I'll miss my sailor?', I asked back only to let him know my thought.

'Would you love to sail with us? it's tough life though'.

'I'd love to............but what about your friends? will they accept me?'

'Gladly, I will talk to them. We will be much stronger having waterbender like you. Now,come with me',he held my hand affectionately I felt rush of chill though my veins. Being with him means loving life devouring all the narrowness and malices of mind.
