Chapter 5

Marion's POV

I know that if I continue looking at them it will just hurt more so I closed the gate and move past them. "Hey dude!" I heard Jungkook called, I just looked over my shoulder, "Sorry for what I did earlier." he continued, "It's allright!" I replied with not much emotion.

Then I continued walking, Rose' may have seen the sadness in my eyes when I walked past them so she asked, "Marion, are you okay?", "Of course, why wouldn't I?" I answered without looking at them and I went straight to my room and closed the not even bothering to open the light as I just sat on my bed letting the darkness swallow me.

"You're a nobody! Did you really hope that you and Lisa would end up together?! HAHAHA! Stop kidding yourself!" I reminded myself, "You're still here because they just needed a housekeeper and caretaker of their pets!" I said again while smacking my head trying to wake myself up from my fantasy.

Rosie's POV

I was just about to tell Lisa, what Marion felt for her when the doorbell rang. He then took this chance to get out of the hot seat I put him on. "So what do you want to tell me, Chaeyoung?" Lisa asked, "Nothing, hahaha!" I answered. Lisa just looked at me like I'm crazy and we continued eating.

We then heard a ruckus outside, we hurriedly went to check things out when we saw someone grabbing Marion and saying, "Who are you?" in Korean, and I heard Marion said something in English.

I saw that Marion is getting slightly angry when Lisa suddenly yelled, "Yah! JEON JUNGKOOK!" and he immediately let go of Marion and went to Lisa, the two hug each other but my attention went to Marion, I saw him looked down with a smirked on his lips, a smirk but not any kind of smirk, a smirk of someone dejected and has just accepted the harsh reality.

I bit my lips as I saw him in that state and felt awful about myself because I kept pushing and teasing him about liking Lisa and I didn't knew I was actually right so seeing something like this would break his heart into a million pieces.

He then walked towards us and I can see the hurt and pain in his eyes so I asked, "Marion, are you okay?" which he answered with, "Of course, why wouldn't I?", without looking at us as he head straight to his room. I felt guilty because I was a part of why he was hurt.

Marion's POV

I didn't left my room the whole night, not wanting to see Lisa or Jungkook or the others. This is the first time I felt like this since the dark days of my life, I felt alone and without no one to lean on.

But I realized that there's no point for me sulking because I am the one who thought about things and daydream about it and I am the one got hurt by my own fantasy, Lisa doesn't even know I like her so I had no right of getting hurt because Lisa is just my impossible dream which even if I strive to achieve, I will never be able to get.

So I just resumed working, cleaning the house, and feeding the pets. I also lessen my interactions with the girls, everytime that they greet I just greet back and goes straight to my room. My daily cycle became work-then-room. It was a bit awkward living in a idols' house and not interacting with them.

One day, when I was upstairs feeding the cats, Rose' went up to me, "Marion, are you feeling better now?", "Yes Rose'-ssi, my wound is healing fast." I answered while putting food on the pets' bowls.

"No! I mean about last time when Lisa and Jungkook, you know-" she continued pointing out, "Huh? Of course! Why would I have a problem with that? They look good with each other." I responded, "Is that all Rose'-ssi?" she nodded, "If you need anything I'll be in my room." I continued as I head downstairs.
