Marion's POV
I've stayed all night to come up with a plan and with much deliberation and formulation, I came up with nothing.
I got no idea of how to woo a girl, I'm just good at cooking and nothing else.
I even watch some dramas just to get any insights but still nothing, it was all cringey and it gave me goosebumps just thinking myself doing those things.
Good thing that the restaurant will not be opened today due to their reservation so I got time to think of what to do, Ahjumma came in at around 9 in the morning and to my surprise, she's not carrying anything.
"Ahjumma, you didn't buy any groceries today?" I asked, "We're gonna buy them later." she said, "Oh okay." I said. She was looking around the restaurant, "It seems we don't need to clean the restaurant too, because it's spotless. I commend you with that." Ahjumma praised me and I smiled in return.
The place seems too dull to hold a party because I know parties have many decorations and stuff, not that I've been invited into any, but based on movies and series I have watched, typical parties should possess a lively atmosphere.
"Uhm... Ahjumma, are we not doing anything to the place?" I asked, "I don't know. They didn't say anything. How about you call that cute girl?" she said, "Cute?" I looked at her, "You know... The one who inquired." she stated, "Uhm... Yeah... I'll call her." I said so I pulled out my phone and dialed her number but I remember that she's angry with me and seeing me the one calling she wouldn't answer.
I went to the front counter and dialed her number through the restaurant's phone, it was ringing for a few minutes, "Why wouldn't she answer? Is she really that angry with me?" I mumbled, dialing her number for the second time.
She picked up, "Hello?" I heard the other line but I can't distinguish if it's her, "Uhm... Hello! This is Ahjumma's Restaurant. A-Ahjumma wants to know if you would want to decorate the place or let it be?" my voice was wavering and I know that she heard the fear in my voice, "Let it be. We won't need any decorations." she said in a neutral tone, now I know that it's her because she was emotionless talking to me, "Is that all?" she said, "I'm sor-" I tried saying but she ended the call before I finished my apology.
I put the phone down, "So kid, what did she say?" Ahjumma asked, "Don't do anything." I answered, I excused myself and went to my room.
"This is the worst!" I said sitting on the edge of the bed, "I should've never agreed going out with her." I scolded myself, "I really need someone to give me advice with this." I said picking up my phone, "Hyungsoo-hyung might be busy, maybe later." I muttered.
"Kid!" Ahjumma shouted from downstairs, "Ahjumma! Ahjumma might know something." I thought so I hurriedly went downstairs, Ahjumma saw me, "Hey kid, I will be going out for a while, meet me at the market later at 2 pm, okay?", "Okay Ahjumma! No problem!" I replied.
She was about to leave when I decided to talk to her, "Uhm... Ahjumma... Before you leave can I ask you something.", "What is it, kid?" she replied, "I... I... I made someone mad at me and I tried contacting this person but this person doesn't answer any of my calls and reply to my messages. I just want to apologize, what should I do?" I responded, "How long has it been since this person is avoiding you?" she asked, "A few days." I answered, "Is this person important to you?" she asked and I nodded, "Then if this person doesn't want to see you, find ways to see this person instead." she advised, "Like stalking this person? Isn't that a bit creepy, Ahjumma?" I asked, "You do crazy things for people that is important to you." she said, "I'll be leaving now. Don't forget later at 2 pm." she instructed and I nodded in reply.
