Chapter 19

Narration:

Shocked expression were printed on the faces of the TWICE members when they saw an unconscious man outside their door.

Chaeyoung immediately went to his aid when the other girls snapped out of it, they helped Chaeyoung in moving Marion inside of their dormitory.

It took all nine of them to carry Marion inside, they tried slowly laying him down on the living room floor but Sana's hands slipped so Marion landed face first on the hard floor.

The girls looked at Sana and she was sending them peace signs. Chaeyoung was full of worry and concern seeing Marion like that.

Chaeyoung's POV

We tried laying him on the floor slowly but Sana-unnie's clumsiness got the better of her so Marion wasn't laid as slowly as we want.

"What are we gonna do?" Jihyo-noona asked, "Why did we move him here?" Mina-noona asked, "Do you know him, Chae?" Sana-unnie asked, "Uhm... Yeah. Kinda." I answered.

"Let's call Jihyung-oppa." Jihyo-noona suggested, "Okay noona." I agreed and she went to her room to get her phone, "I can't believe he really waited." Jeongyeon-unnie said, "I know, noona." I replied.

"He's burning up." I followed, "His clothes were completely wet." Dahyun-unnie said, "Oppa is on his way here. Let's wait for him. Get some towels and dry him up." Jihyo-noona instructed so Momo-unnie and Tzuyu went to get some towels.

"We need to remove his clothes." Sana-unnie said and the members were shocked, "Yah! We can't do that!" Jihyo-noona scolded Sana-unnie, "But if we don't do that we won't be able to treat his fever." Sana-unnie pointed out, "You're right but we can't just do that. We'll wait for oppa to come." Jihyo-noona replied, I was doing what I can at the time to try and dry him so I was wiping his face and arms.

"This is my fault!" I said to myself then I felt a hand on my shoulder, "I know you're thinking that it's your fault, it's not." Jeongyeon-unnie told me, "It's because I didn't believe him." I replied, "No. If someone should be blamed here, it would be me. I prevented you from going outside and I also said mean things about him." Jeongyeon-unnie said, "Maybe he's not like other men." she continued.

After a few minutes, Jihyung-oppa arrived. "What's happening?" Jihyung-oppa said, "Isn't that-" but I cut him off, "Oppa, he's burning up with fever. You need to change his clothes.", "That's why Jihyo said to bring some of my clothes. Gotcha!" Jihyung-oppa replied, "Is there any room we can use?" he asked, "Use my room." I offered and he nodded. He carried Marion towards my room.

There was an awkward silence filling up the room, I know that the others has so many questions about the guy we found unconscious outside our door, everyone was looking at each other.

Everyone was itching to say something then Jihyo-unnie just did so.

"Chae, what's really happening here?" Jihyo-unnie asked, "Yeah! Why was he out there?" Mina-unnie followed, "I'm curious too." Momo-unnie said, "How do you know him, Chae?" Dahyun-unnie asked.

"You need to tell them, Chae." Nayeon-unnie told me, "He is... He's... The one I was supposed to go out with." I told the others, "The one?... Oh! The one!" Momo-unnie exclaimed, "Momo, you knew him?" Jihyo-unnie asked Momo-unnie, "Nope!" Momo-unnie replied with a smile, "Yah!" Jihyo-unnie responded.

"Oh! I got it now! He's the one that didn't show on your date, right?" Dahyun-unnie said looking at me and the other girls looked at me too.

"Is he that one?" Sana-unnie followed and I nodded, "But that doesn't answer the question, why was he out there?" Jihyo-unnie sternly asked, "He told me that he's gonna wait outside until I talk to him and give him a second chance..." I answered.
