Chapter 25

Marion's POV

I swallowed the water slowly because of her sudden declaration, "S-sure. What is it?" I said my hands on my lap gripping my pants tight, "I-" she was about to say something when our order came and was put one by one on our table, "Enjoy your meal!" the server said and we both smiled at him.

"So what were you going to say?" I asked, "It can wait. Let's eat first." she said, so I looked at the dish in front of me, it was a kind of pastry, more like a bread.

I got confused of why she would order this for me but when I cut it in half, the burst of smell of a well-cooked meat filled my nostrils.

I took the first bite and it was indescribable, I have never tasted something like this before.

"You like that?" she asked, I nodded letting the meat in my mouth melt. After finishing it, I moved to a pasta dish which was also so delicious, then lastly, the dessert, I have a sweet tooth so tasting a dessert like that was truly a great experience.

Chaeyoung's POV

Seeing Marion enjoying every bite of his food made me happy.

"Are you finished?" I asked, "Yeah! Thanks for bringing me to a place like this." he said, "It's the least I can do." I replied, "Least that you can do?" he asked confused based on his expression.

"There's another reason that I brought you here.", "Uhm... Is this the important thing you need to tell me?" he asked and I nodded, "What is it?" he followed, "We're gonna have our come back." I said and he gasped, "Really? That's fantastic. I'm gonna see you perform on the stage again."

"Uhm... But because of that-" I said, "You're not gonna break up with me, are you?" he said his voice was wavering, "What?! Of course not! I was just gonna say that I'm gonna be super busy and I might not be allowed to go out with you as often as we use to." I replied and I heard him exhale, from that I can tell that he was so afraid that I might end it with him.

"It's okay, Chae. Even if it's once a day or once a week or even once a month, I'm okay with it. Like I told you before I'm not the clingy type." he said to me with a smile and I held his hand.

Marion's POV

My hand won't stop shaking because I was so scared of the thought that she would break up with me so with the remaining strength that I can muster I said, "It's okay, Chae. Even if it's once a day or once a week or even once a month, I'm okay with it. Like I told you before I'm not the clingy type."

I tried saying it as calm as I can and I smiled as well but even after doing all that my hand still won't stop shaking.

She looked at me replying my smile with her own and she held my hand, just then its trembling stop.

We enjoyed the night, she even gave me a ride home.

I waved at her before the limousine left. I went to my room and after changing, I fell flat on the bed.

I still can't move on, it kept bugging me all night. But it also made me realize that she can do it, she can leave me with no question asked just like that.

But I believe in Chaeyoung, she's the only girl that made me feel loved other than my mother and I'm not gonna waste it, I'm gonna return it ten folds.

So the preparation for their comeback is going to start and just like what she said, she wasn't allowed to leave their dorm.

The first few days were not different from our previous encounters, I decided to visit her every afternoon and when I got there I can see the tiredness on all of their faces so I didn't stay for long like I usually do which means we don't do anything, I just sat there with her on my side and her head resting on my shoulders.
