Chapter 12

Marion's POV

Luckily, with all the money I have with me I was able to buy clothes that I can change into and a cheap hotel that I can spend the night. "It's probably good that there are some thrift stores that is open 24/7." I muttered as I took a warm bath because I was covered of dirt and my right hand is covered in blood, "Ow! Ow! Ow!" I removed the old bandage on my hand, then I cleaned the blood and sat in the tub.

"You're a nobody!" I jolted up, the water splashed everywhere, and I tried remembering where I was, "I fallen asleep?!" I said seeing that I'm still in the bath. I didn't realize that I was in the water for about an hour so I stood up when I saw my body starting to prune and I dried myself and change to the clothes I bought.

"Should I get my things from the house? No. No. I can't go back there anymore." I said to myself.

After my nap in the bathroom, I can't seem to catch any sleep anymore so I opened the small television set in my room and I scrolled through different channels when I got bored doing that because I didn't saw anything interesting to watch I switched it off and lied down on the bed.

I closed my eyes trying to trick myself of falling asleep. But every time I close my eyes, I only see the events that happened.

If it was from other people I'll be able to brush it off but from them and especially her, it's just too hard to swallow, I know that it's because of how angry she was of me because I punched her boyfriend but she wouldn't have said it if she didn't already have it in mind.

I was staring at the ceiling, letting sleep visit me but it just made me drown in my thoughts. I opened my phone and I saw couple of messages from them and Hyungsoo.

I read them mostly it says that "Don't kill yourself!", "Should I let them know that I'm okay? Maybe Hyungsoo I might contact him but not now." I said when I put my phone beside my pillow.

It's already 3 in the morning and I think I will not fall asleep anytime soon, I tried finding something to pass the time. I ended up going to the lobby and I saw a vending machine so with the remaining money I have I bought some snacks and drinks.

I sat on the couch and opened my food and one of the staff passed by, "Having trouble sleeping?" he said, "Yeah. Too much things to think about." I replied, "Want me to get you some pills to help you sleep?" he suggested, "It's okay. Thank you for the offer." I responded, "Just call if you need anything." he said, "Will do." I replied as he walked away.

I put away the snack packs and empty bottles and went back to my room, I got a hold of my phone again and connected it to the internet.

Notifications started to came in from different media sites, then I saw a news article regarding them and it says "BlackPink is nominated for the best girl group", I just removed it from the notification bar and looked at the other notifications that is bombing my phone.

I successfully passed 2 hours and my new job will start in an hour so I prepared myself because I got no other things to do so I took a bath again, I went to the the restaurant.

It's kind of refreshing walking that early in the morning, it's quiet, and peaceful.

The hotel is located near the restaurant so that it will not be a hard for me to go back and forth.

I reached the restaurant within 30 mins of walking. I started to stretch my body to prepare for the whole day of working.

From where I was standing I saw Ahjumma walking towards the restaurant, I hurriedly went to greet her. "Good morning Ahjumma!" I said full of energy, "You're early. Trying to get on my good side, kid?" she teased, "I'm just so excited to work. Let me help you with that, Ahjumma." I said taking the bags of grocery from her hands and heading to the kitchen, "Thank you kid. Let's start preparing." she said and I agreed.
