Chapter 31

Marion's POV

I'm working my ass off today because Ahjumma had to close down for me yesterday.

I tried asking Ahjumma to let me handle the work but she insisted on helping saying, "I need to move around or my joints will ache."

I let her but I did most of the work and gave Ahjumma the less strenuous ones.

I'm finishing up an order when someone entered, I saw Ahjumma starting to go out, "Ahjumma let me take it." I said, I went out and saw Seulgi-noona.

"Noona! Good to see you. Are you okay?" I asked, a smile was forming, "Yeah..." she replied her voice softer, I let out a laugh and she scolded me, "Yah! Stop laughing."

"You were so funny when you dozed off." I said between laughs, "Yah! Because of that, Irene-noona prohibited me from drinking." she said and I continued laughing.

"She was so angry when I called her." I added, "Yeah! When I woke up, I was sleeping on the couch. She was standing in front of me with a grave expression on her face, I thought I was having a nightmare." she replied and I laughed again.

"Thanks for bringing me home by the way." she continued, "No problem." I wiped a tear from laughing too hard.

I saw a customer calling for me, "Wait here, noona. I'll go assist a customer." I said and she nodded. After bringing a customer a can of soda, I went back to the counter.

"Why are you here, noona? Want to order something?" I asked, "Nah... Just want to thank you." she answered, "Okay, it's nothing. It's my fault that you got drunk." I said, she smiled, bid goodbye and I waved back.

I went back to the kitchen, "Who was that?" Ahjumma asked, "Seulgi-noona." I replied, she nodded and went back to cooking.

The days turned into weeks then into a month, many things happened in that span of time.

The TWICE Comeback just dropped and it caused an uproar especially when they saw me in it.

I was chilling on my bed watching some videos on YouTube when suddenly their music video popped out.

I almost dropped out of bed when I saw it.

I played the video and there I was, the awkward figure clearly out of place then it continued until the kiss, the camera was kinda far but it was still seen.

Only a day after that, my name was headlining social media sites again which I don't want to anymore but it seemed JYP planned this all along.

Giving the TWICE Comeback, a much greater impact.

They were the talk of the nation again and people started flocking in the restaurant again, reporters swarming to get something out of me because of the appearance I got in their music video.

Like before, it died down after a few months and my name disappeared again from media sites just like I wanted it to.

Three months passed and the BlackPink World Tour ended and as a reward they spent two months on vacation.

But today was the day they're finally coming back.

I was cleaning like I usually do when I got the message, "Hey, Marion! We are back. Why didn't you came to see us?" I read and it was from Jennie-noona, "You're back? Really, noona? I don't know when will you be back exactly so I wasn't able to see you arrive." I replied.

"How about I cook something as an apology and welcome home gift?" I followed, "That's a good idea! We'll expecting the famous Ahjumma's food to be delicious as it always is." she replied, "Of course, noona. I'll be there." I texted, so I went to the market to buy the ingredients needed to cook their favorites.
