Marion's POV

I dropped the food I was eating when Lisa suddenly asked me, "Are you free tomorrow?" my eyes were wide and staring at her.

"I'm sorry... What did you say?" I asked, "I said, are you free tomorrow?" she asked again, "Uh... Yes... Why?" I replied, "You'll know tomorrow." she replied and she stood up and left suddenly, I wasn't able to stop her from leaving because I'm still stuck there thinking about what just unfolded.

"She didn't even told me what we're doing tomorrow." I said to myself as I put the snacks back in the bag and carried it to my room.

I haven't used my phone since a long time ago so I opened it and tried sending Lisa a message, I saw all of Lisa's messages and I felt bad about not replying to any of it.

I typed a message, "Hey Lisa. You left so suddenly, are you okay?" then sent to her, "Marion! Sorry for leaving abruptly. I'm fine." she replied, "Oh good to hear." I messaged back, "Uh... So... What do you want to do tomorrow?" I followed, "I... I'll tell you tomorrow." she sent and my heart started beating fast, "Oh... I got you. Where are we going to meet?" I said back, "Han River." she replied immediately, "Okay! See you there." I messaged.

I was able to typed my last message even though my hands were shaking.

Everything was like a sign to me; her question, her not telling me right away, and 'Han River', all of those are pointing to two possible conclusions; a confession or a rejection.

I decided not to think about it too much because it will kill me so I scrolled to social media while enjoying the snacks she brought me.

Ahjumma allowed me to help her in the restaurant but with only cleaning and wiping the table, she still doesn't want me to do the heavy tasks like cooking and washing the dishes.

It makes me sad to see Ahjumma doing all the hard tasks because of me so I followed instructions to be able to recover faster so that I can help her again.

After finishing the work today, I went up and cleaned myself.

I changed to simple sweater, skinny pants, and vans. I also took the black long coat I have because it's pretty cold outside.

I received a message from Lisa saying, "I'm on the way. See you there. Don't be late." I got my keys on the way out and got in a cab, "Where to, sir?", "Han River.", "Oh. You got a date?", "I don't know exactly.", "It must be a date. Han River is famous for couples.", "I'll know when I got there." I smiled, "Don't worry, sir. Everything will work out." he replied.

I got there and he was right. All I can see was couples, "Thank you." I paid the fare, "Good luck, sir." he said before leaving.

It was really cold so I tightened my coat around my body, I checked my phone for any messages when there weren't any, I messaged her, "I'm here. Where are you at?", "The bench near the river. I'm the only one sitting alone." she replied and I smiled because it would be easy to find someone alone here because everyone has a partner.

I walked up the benches to find where she was sitting at, I came up to the third bench and I saw someone by themselves so I walked to the bench and I saw her enjoying a drink, "Hey!" I greeted, "Hey Marion!" she greeted back, I sat beside her and she took out a bag containing a cup, "Hot choco.", "Oh thanks." I happily accepted it and took a sip, the warmness felt awesome especially in this kind of weather.

I felt her looking at me when I noticed her, she quickly looked away, sipping from her drink.

"What do you want to do?" I asked, "I... Uhm... I..." she stuttered, "You want to tell me something." I said and she looked shocked.
