Chapter 15

Marion's POV

I immediately opened the door. "Sorry for my rude behavior." I said, I slightly bowed my head. It's not everyday that you see someone like her. "I'm sorry. Is this Ahjumma's Restaurant?" she said slightly flustered seeing an unfamiliar face.

"Yes. I'm Marion Alexander, an employee of Ahjumma." I replied, "Oh... I thought I got the wrong place." she responded, "I'm sorry for disturbing you when the restaurant is clearly closed." she continued, "No. It's okay. If it's for you, I'll happily open the restaurant." I replied, she got a bit taken back. When my brain registered the words I said, my eyes widen and I got embarrassed.

"Uhm... What I mean was... If there's a customer in need, I'll happily open the restaurant." I muttered, she laughed seeing me all defensive and fidgety. "Hey it's okay. Calm down. I got what you mean." she chuckled.

"May I ask what you need?" I replied, "We'll be having a party next saturday and I just wanted to inquire." she said, "For that I'll need to ask Ahjumma. How about I'll just inform you?" I said, "Okay." she replied, I gave her a piece of paper. "Can you write down your contact details and name." I replied, she smiled at me, "Isn't this just a way for you to get my number?" she teased, "Maybe." I replied.

"Here." she handed me the paper, then she started walking away, I bowed and she reciprocated and I closed the door. I read her name, "I was right. She really is Son Chaeyoung of TWICE."

I sat at the counter and dialed Ahjumma's number.

I rang a couple of times and she picked up. "Hello Ahjumma." I greeted, "Hey kid. What do you need?" she replied, "Someone came to the restaurant and likes to inquire if it's possible to hold a party here." I said, "When is it?" she responded, "Next Saturday." I replied, "Sure. Give the the contact details, I'll talk to them." she said, "It's okay Ahjumma. Let me tell the client." I replied, "Okay. See you tomorrow kid." she responded.

Our call ended and I quickly took the piece of paper and dialed the phone number written on it. It started ringing, "Hello, is this Son Chaeyoung? Oh! This is Marion from Ahjumma's Restaurant." I practiced while waiting for the call to be answered.

Then someone answered, "Hello?", "Hello! I'm Marion Alexander from Ahjumma's Restaurant. Is this Son Chaeyoung?" I stated, "What's your business with Son Chaeyoung?" he asked, I got confused hearing a male's voice, "She went by Ahjumma's Restaurant and inquired for a party." I replied, "Party?! What are you saying? Is this some kind of prank call?" he responded, "No sir. Just ask Son Chaeyoung. She gave me this contact details." I replied, "Don't call this number again." he stated firmly, "But..." I tried saying but he ended the call. I sat there dumbfounded of what just happened.

"So... What just happened?!" I thought, "She gave me her manager's contact details to fool me. That's just wrong." I said, "That's for expecting so much when a beautiful woman comes by your door." I continued. I got up from my seat and headed back to my room, I changed clothes and I was having a hard time deciding if I will either cook my own food or eat out.

But I was too lazy to cook so I headed out to eat fast food or any food that will satisfy my palette. I called a cab and told him where I wanted to go and off we go. I arrived at the mall and I walked around a bit before finding a place to eat in, there were so many choices of establishments serving different varieties of food so picking one was hard.

At the end, I picked something I'm familiar with and that's fried chicken. I ordered a bucket of fried chicken, two cheeseburgers, a large fries and cola.

While eating, I got on my phone and checked the current happenings especially the BlackPink's World Tour which is trending worldwide.

"They're really awesome." I said while sipping my cola. After I finished eating, I strolled around the mall going through different stalls and department.
