Prayers

They say that I should make a wish

But I made a prayer for a special person

I prayed for your good health and happiness

For that would be one of the best gifts ever

I am looking forward for your success

Even if for now you will accept the pain

With the time and place that suits you best

I am hoping that one day, you will gain

I am praying for the healing of your heart

For I know that you are not okay and well

I know that it's teared apart from the start

I can see it in your eyes even if you don't tell

And for the woman that He will give to you

I am hoping that she will make you happy

That she will be faithful and she will be true

That she will make you feel better than me 

I know that I'm not the one who will be there 

But I will be happy to see your genuine smile 

When these prayers are granted and answered

For they are the prayers that I made for the man who can't be mine
