Chapter 7

I got ready for the day by 9:30. I figured I had some time before I had to meet Tanner so I turned on the tv. I was enjoying my movie, peacefully might I add, until someone decided to open the door that connected our to rooms. I let out a loud, high pitched scream, startled by Tanner.

I startled him with my scream, and made him accidentally drop three eggs that were in his hand. That made a mess, but luckily since we were in the kitchen part of my villa, it wasn't on carpeting

"I brought breakfast!" Tanner smiled, "next time try not to freak out so I dont drop it all before I can cook." he joked. I rolled my eyes at him. "Hope you like your eggs scrambled!"

I laughed a little, but my stomach let out a loud growl. I could feel my ears start to get warm and I knew I was blushing. "Do you just want to eat at the animal café there?" I asked him. I wasn't a huge fan of the animal café because I was absolutely terrified of snakes. But something about Tanner mad me feel safe when I was around him.

He nodded, obviously hungry too. The Animal Kingdom wasn't in a walking distance from The Grand Floridian, so we had to wait for the tram.

The tram took a while to arrive. And the fact that I was starving made seconds feel like hours. The tram finally did come. Tanner shot a look at me that said, 'i can get a better seat then you'. I nodded, accepting his challenge, and bolted to the doors of the tram.

Looking back, I couldn't see Tanner until- SWISH- someone carried my around there shoulders like a pet snake. I looked down to see Tanner laughing historically as I playfully punched his shoulder. "TANNER!" I Yelled, scared out of my wits that he would accidentally hit my head on the door of the tram, but he set me down before he bolted into the tram, beating me.

I stuck my tongue out at him. Cheater! I mouthed at him. He sat a few rows in front of me. But I still got the better seat. Sitting next to Tanner was a cute old lady, who was pinching his cheeks and gushing over him like he was a 3 year old. I giggled as he glared at me.

The ride was quick though, and we both ran to the Rain Forest café. We got a table and ordered quickly. Our food came fast and we gobbled down our food, Hardly swallowing.

Tanner Chugged down his orange juice, and we left. "were to next?" He asked.

"Tree of life?" I asked. he agreed and we started walking to the tree of life to watch Its Tough To be a bug, underneath the tree. It was so much fun! They had 'bugs' crawling under your seat and spraying you in the face! Tanner seemed some what freaked out, but of course denied it when I asked if he was scared.

After Its Tough to be a bug we went on; Dinosaur, saw Habitat Habit, rode the river rapids, went on the safari, and Tanner went on the Mt. Everest.

When It came time to go, we rushed to get the tram before it left. It was far from were we were, and if we missed it we would have to wait a half an hour for the next tram. "Hurry up!" Tanner called out to me as we ran.

"I can-" I started to yell. If you didn't know, I'm the clumsiest person ever. And of corse I tripped over a rock and fell, possibly spraining my ankle. "TANNER!" I yelled out in pain. He looked back at me and made no hesitation to pick me up bridal style, and carry me to the tram. We just barley made it. As soon as we got in, the doors slammed behind us and the tram jolted forward. We had the last stop.

"Thanks" I said, "for not leaving me behind" I said quietly. He smiled a little and replied with,

"Nobody gets left behind."

We sat in silence. Tanner looked out the window, while I looked at him. I never noticed it until now but, I had to admit he wasn't an average looking guy. His brown bangs swiftly touched his eyebrows, his eyes were deep and blue. His chin was chiseled and his lips were a bright pink, but not to bright.

Suddenly my cheeks burned red. I don't know why, but I had a feeling that he knew I was looking at him. I looked out the window and caught his eye in the reflection.

Then we jerked to a stop, our stop. I climbed out, liming. "Lets get some ice on the ankle." he said. He offered to carry me, obvious that I was in pain. I thanked him but told him no.

When I looked at the clock on the stove, it read 10:30pm. Normally I would have stayed up late and went to the pool, but Tanner insisted that I got my pajamas on while he got a bag of ice for me.

I obeyed and got some sweat pants and a tee on. I limped to the kitchen and watched Tanner fill a bag with ice. He set it down and put it on the counter, picking me up. I protested, but he ignored me.

He gently put me in my bed and got the ice for my foot. He left, but a few minuted later he was back with extra pillows to elevate my leg. "there." he said, looking pleased with himself. "goodnight!" He said cheerfully as he kissed my forehead, in a friendly way. "spa day tomorrow?" he asked. "probably should go anywhere tomorrow, with your ankle...."

"Tanner! No, you go, without me, and I'll have a spa day." I told him.

"Car-" he protested. But I interrupted him,

"Just go to a water park, and try not to have to much fun with out me." I said. "Night."

I rolled over in my bed and he sat down on a chair beside me for a while. Then, after he thought I was asleep got up and lightly closed the door behind him as he left.
