Ms. Lan (formally known as my mother) walked in the room. I crossed my arms, glaring at her. She gave me a confused look, unaware that I knew the truth.
"Why didnt you tell me?" I said softly.
"Carissa I dont know what your t-" she began.
"WHY?!" I shouted. She nodded, knowing what I meant.
"Because, I was afraid of loosing you." she explained softly, smiling kindly.
"WELL MAYBE IF YOU TOLD ME EARLIER YOU WOULDN'T HAVE LOST ME!" I shouted. Anger burned inside of me. I was betrayed, lied to.
"W-what do you mean?!" Asked the woman who I once called mother.
"Im leaving. As soon as I'm out of this stupid hospital I'm leaving."
"Carissa no! Please!" She exclaimed with a hurt expression across her face. She gasped and collapsed.
I sat up in my bed. "NURSE!" I yelled. Someone came rushing in and took Ms.Lan away. Tanner came rushing in, making sure I was okay.
"What happened?!" He asked, shaken up.
"Ms. Lan collapsed!" I explained.
"Ms. Lan? You mean your mother?!" He asked. I nodded, but wouldn't accept her as my mother any longer.
A nurse came in a few minutes later. "Ms. Lan had a weak heart. Shes been very stressed this week and her blood pursuer had gone up to high. Shes gone. Im sorry for your loss. "
