A/n: okay before you read this chapter you gotta watch the video! Even if it makes you bawl like it made me😭! But Carl and Ellie just reminded me a lot of Tanner and Carissa. They both had their weirdness, For Ellie it was her hair, for Carl it was his quietness. Tanner and Carissa both had an abnormal love for Disney. Both couples met by accident in some way, and both looked after each other in hard times (as you will see in this chapter) Also Tanner and Carissa have these cute small moments that mean the world to them. Ellie also kind of reminded me of Carissa's (biological) mom, when Ellie lost her baby, though she was ready to have the baby, she was devastated. I feel like though Carissa's mom willingly gave up her child, she had that same kind of heart brake. Just a reminder this is still Tanners pov!

I paced the hospital waiting room, not knowing what to do. "There has to be something we can do!" I said, fustraited.

Ms.Lan shook her head. "We just have to wait." I paced some more, trying to plot a plan to sneak into her room. Ms. Lan watched me and motioned for me to take a seat next to her.

"My daughter came home from Disney World, upset and depressed. She wouldn't tell me why, but I knew something was wrong; she just got back from her favorite place in the world for goodness sake! No matter how much I tried to get her to spill the beans, she remained quiet. One night, during dinner I saw a text flash her cell screen. I stopped nagging her and waited patently for her to tell me what was wrong, witch she did eventually.

The problem was that she met a certain boy, by fate, at Disney World and fell in love." She finished.

I combed a hair through my messy hair, "what are you trying to say?" I asked her.

"You made her happy, now I need you to help her out by cheering her up. Sneak into her hospital room when the doctors are done in there. Okay? Find out if shes okay and cheer her up again." She instructed.

I was watching every doctor, until finally all the doctors that were in her room cleared out for a while.

She was hooked up to many machines. She had an oxygen mask and one of those things that beeped every time your heart was to beat. Relief washed over me as a steady beep rang every few short moments. I pulled up a chair next to her. Her eyes were softly closed. I was just thankful that her heart was beating.

I took her hand and stroked her cheek, expecting her to wake up. I waited a while but she didn't. She didn't even flinch! What was wrong with her?

A nurse stood at the doorway, watching me. She smiled sadly at me. "Shes in a coma." those four words struck me like lightning.

I shook my head in defiance. "It should have been me." I whispered to Carissa quietly. I looked at the nurse and stood up. "Could I stay for a while?" I begged, tears threatening my eyes.

She hesitated, but nodded. "Im guessing your not family... judging by how close you were... But I'll let it slide this time." she smiled. "Just, be quick."

I nodded and returned to my seat while the nurse walked out.

I stayed until a doctor shooed me out and gave her a kiss on her forehead before leaving. "I'll be back tomorrow, I promise."
