Chapter 43: Soul Power

You raised an eyebrow as you girls were just standing there souls bright as neon lights under your clothes. You could even see your ribs looked like they were glowing too from your soul. All the skeletons were just staring at you girls like they were hypothesized.

"Will you boys stop fucking staring?!" Suzy shouted as she crossed her arms. "Cheshire what's going on??" Mae said with panic in her voice, Cheshire shook his head. "Oh... urrr..."

"SOUL POWERS. THAT IS WHY YOUR MARKS ARE GLOWING AS WELL, I WAS WONDERING WHEN YOU MORTALS WOULD GAIN SOUL POWERS." Reap said smiling sweetly. You gave him a confused face, you still didn't really understand.

Cheshire rolled his eye lights. "Ya fine it's just ya souls spreading magic around your body" he mumbled. You sighed in relief, ah ok now you understand... kinda? Suzy placed her hands on her hips "ok so.. how do we stop this glowing thing? Cus it's really hurting my eyes lad."

Cheshire and Reap just smirked at each other a fanged grin spread across Cheshire's face. "Oh that's easy heh heh..." Why did you suddenly feel like worrying again? "Stretch kiss Suzy."

* COUGH * Stretch's eye sockets widened as he almost dropped his drink. "Nyeh What???!!"

"Kiss Suzy.." Cheshire mumbled giving Stretch a bored expression and pointing at Suzy who was red in the face. "You what lad??" Sans stepped in, "bud hang on you can't just-"

"Relax Sans that's how to stop their souls from glowing, a kiss from a monster. Trust me I'm a God." He said proudly, Sans just gave him a dead-panned look.

"Heh well.. if it's just a kiss...." G suddenly wrapped his arms around Mae's waist and pulled her close making her squeal in surprise. "Uhm..."

"Hey toots~" He grinned leaning down to kiss her gently on the lips, with a ping her soul stopped glowing. "Oh... it..actually worked.." Mae mumbled face as red as her jumper, Cheshire smiled "see told ya.."

"Hey! why do you get to kiss her?" Red said angrily clearly jealous that G got there first. Oh great here we go... G frowned as he looked over at Red. "Dude... stop whining I was helping did ya not hear what Cheshire said? Dumbass..."

"Who are ya calling a dumbass??!!"

"Obviously you...." G mumbled with a smirk.

Mae frowned. "Boys stop please..." As G and Red were arguing with a worried Mae in the middle of them Suzy just smirked up at Stretch who just glared down at her not amused with her look for once. A slight orange blush was dusting his cheekbones as well.

"Don't even think about it.." He mumbled. Suzy placed her hands on Stretch's cheekbones as she chuckled. "For skeletons ya cheeks are squishy heh." Stretch grabbed Suzy's wrists gently and moved her hands away from his face. Instead he pulled her closer catching her off guard.

"Stretch what are ya-" Before she could finish Stretch leaned down and kissed her making her soul's light fade with a ping just like Mae's.

Stretch smirked as he chuckled amused that he surprised her. "Smooth..." Suzy mumbled with a bright blush on her face. "I did warn ya hun.. nyeh heh."

You just shook your head and smiled you were sure some of the skeletons were tipsy. You knew Suzy was a little...maybe more but at least they stopped the glowing. Guess Cheshire wasn't trying to amuse himself, sneaky skeleton...

A tug on your arm brought you back from your thoughts. "Hm?" It was Berry he looked a little nervous which wasn't like him. "HUMAN I WANTED TO ASK.. IF I COULD...HELP YOU...WITH UHM THE SOUL GLOW."

Oh yeah yours was still glowing. You blushed a little not expecting Berry to ask you if he could help out.

You rubbed your arm with a nervous smile on your face. The surprise kisses that Horror, Buc and Sniper gave you you weren't prepared for them but you were for this one so you knew what was coming and that made you nervous for some stupid reason...especially if one of the edge lords was asking to help you with your glowing soul problem.
