Chapter 40: A Special Gyftmas

It was two days until Christmas, or what the skeletons called Gyftmas, and you'd actually got presents for all the skeletons. but they were only little ones that they would have to share with their brothers ( except for Buc and Dream..)

You were assured that they wouldn't mind, but it stung you a little that this will be Bucs first Gyftmas without Captain, and Dream had told you he's spent Gyftmas without Nightmare, his brother before as well, he would usually spend it with Blue and Stretch instead.

So you got Dream and Buc something different, something that wouldn't bring memories of their brothers.

You smiled at the cashier as she handed you the pretty box with a black bow on top. "Thank you!" You said as you walked out of the shop with Tilly by your side.

Today you were going ice skating, it was Suzy's Idea and you thought it would be something fun for Tilly to do, though you didn't really know how to ice skate so you were just going sit and watch!

You were meeting Mae, Suzy and a few of the skeletons at the ice skating rink after you put your gifts away.

The skeletons had been more protective with you girls ever since the mafiafell incident a few weeks ago at the casino.

Skullface and Sniper found out that they were in town because they could sense your soul marks? Apparently, they were also bara monsters that's why they were so huge too...

And now Cheshire had seen Dust walking the streets at night a few days ago, that was not good, it meant him and the other two were around somewhere in the village or town.

You sighed, kinda annoyed that this was happening now even though you knew you and your friends were safe, you weren't worried too much.

"Auntie? Are we going ice skating now?" Tilly asked with a giddy look on her face.

You nodded and smiled down at her. "Yep, well, you are, I'll just be watching from the side."

Tilly raised an eyebrow at you and puffed out her cheeks. "Aww, are you not going to join in?" She pouted, clearly trying to persuade you with cuteness.

Well, it wasn't going to work!

You shook your head. "Nope."

"Hm... ok!" Tilly said, facing forward.

Huh? Did she really give up that quickly? You shrugged, guess that was a win for you...

You both got to the skating rink and saw Mae, Suzy, Red, Slim, Edge, Berry and Horror.

Greeeat, the edge lords were here, yay! Oh boy... this was going to be a long day wasn't it?

But it was nice to see Horror wearing his beanie again, he looked cute in it and the black ripped jeans suited him as well. You were a bit surprised how, AHEM, attractive the skeletons looked wearing something other than their signature clothes.

Mae and Suzy had the same reaction as you it seemed, seeing as Mae almost dropped a mug and Suzy chocking on her drink and you almost falling over, heh...

Didn't help when Buc added a pun saying. "I didn't know you were falling for me peaches~ " with a sharp grin on his face, you just grumbled with a bright blush on your face.

Mae smiled brightly as she saw you and Tilly walking up to her and the others, Tilly let go of your hand and ran over to Slim who was smoking with Red.

She tugged at his jacket the best she could by standing on her tiptoes, making Slim look down at her and raise a bone brow. "What's up kiddo?" He smiled as he put out his cigarette.
