Chapter 48: Hot Springs

That afternoon after Lèi made a wonderful lunch you, Mae, Red and Sans went on a tour of China town with Tián showing you girls around. Lèi stayed home to tend to Suzy's still healing bones. She still wasn't allowed to go out yet. You hoped by this evening she would be able to.

" So are we going for a tour of the town? This place is so beautiful, by the way " Mae asked smiling as she looked around, spotting all the cute little stores and more blossoming trees behind them. The cool breeze blew pastel petals onto the ground and roof tops. Tián chuckled softly.

"of course you are sweetpea, it would be rude not ta show ya ladies my home town..heh. " Sans and Red just looked at each other knowing Tián was pretending they weren't tagging along. Geez...they could've shown you and Mae around, but nooo mister show off wanted to.

Mae gasped excitingly " oh my god Y/N we can buy some new clothes!" she said shaking your arm gently as she had a bright smile on her face you chuckled at her excitement trust Mae to want new clothes.

" Sure..I don't see why not? " you mumbled.

" Heh heh.. the clothes shops are just on the right a few blocks down from here come on I'll show ya " Tián said as he walked ahead of you. Red walked up to Mae with a smirk on his face and smoke coming out of his nasal bone, making Mae cringe a little. She hated the smell of cigarette smoke

" hey sweetheart... maybe you could get Suzy some new clothes as well?.." Mae raised an eyebrow at him.

" that's strangely nice of you to suggest Red? " Mae said smirking back.

" Why thank ya flower heh..." you and Sans rolled your eyes/eye lights " i'm sure you weren't just asking me to get Suzy some beautiful Chinese clothes just to make your brother flustered Red hm? " Mae said rolling her eyes as well but with a smile.

" Heh no not at all sweetheart.." Red chuckled giving Mae a wink.

As Tián was telling you and Mae stories about the little stores in town you stopped walking for a moment. You could smell something sweet and delicious, and turned your head towards the source. A bakery with quite a lot of cobwebs, but they didn't make the place look dirty at all, the cobwebs made the front of the bakery sparkle beautifully in the sunlight.

" Y/N?" Mae and the boys walked over to you.

" Heh well never thought Muffet would be here making a living. " Sans said looking the bakery up and down.

" You know who owns this place Sans?" you asked Sans smiled and nodded.

" yep, Muffet. She had a little bakery back in the underground. Glad she could live out her dream here on the surface. " Sans said proud of his friend.

" Oh how nice! We should go in and see her! " Mae smiled and started walking towards the bakery. Guess clothes shopping would have to wait. You, Sans and Tián followed Mae in with Red dragging his feet behind mumbling to himself.

A little bell rang as you all entered the bakery. You jumped seeing little spiders all over the wall and tables bumping into Tián. " woah careful darlin.. heh heh" he chuckled.

" S-sorry I wasn't expecting to see spiders...in a bakery." You mumbled, watching your step now. You weren't scared of spiders but ever since you had that night terror you hadn't really liked seeing insects. Sans smiled knowing this was normal for Muffet to have spider helpers in her bakery.

" Hello! Welcome to Muffet's bakery." A purple monster spider walked out the kitchen with a fanged smile on her face. She had short dark purple, almost black, hair that shined in the light and five onyx black eyes with white pupils that gave her a friendly look. Her 3 pairs of hands were carrying trays of fresh baked cupcakes. She was also wearing beautiful purple hanfu clothing with butterflies and flowers printed onto it.
