Chapter 41: New Year New Adventures

It was the end of the Christmas holidays. Tilly went back to her grandparent's house and you were a little upset that she had to go but of course you would see her again.

Blue, Papyrus, Dream and Crook were sad to see her go too, actually everyone was but those four showed it more than you and anyone else really heh.

Today you were having just a girl's day with Mae and Suzy. Sans was a bit worried with the mafiafell brothers around and Dust and his little gang of psychos could be anywhere waiting for the right moment to pounce and steal your souls and let's not forget Ego. Well she wasn't after you girls but she now knows she could use you three to get to the skeletons...

Man you didn't realize how much danger you girls were in... Since you agreed to do this job experiment.

Well at least you had a bunch of protective skeletons to keep you girls safe from danger so you weren't that scared but it still made you worry.

Sans asked that you at least take Mae's dog Rosita with you just in case and if anything happens give him or any of the others a ring.

Honestly you were all adults... you cold take care of yourselves but it was kinda sweet that they were worried and you understood why but still.

"I think we look pretty badass walking around with a big dog." Suzy said grinning, trying to act cool as she was walking Rosita.

Mae rolled her eyes. "Suzy walk her properly, one of you is gonna trip.." she said mumbling the last part knowing too well that Suzy would be the one to trip...

"So where are we going anyway?" You asked as you shoved your hands in your coat pockets, you wanted to get out of the chilly wind.

Mae smiled "Well I know a cafe that allows dogs in so we're going there."

"Ah yes I can do with a coffee or two heh." Suzy said with a grin. You just rolled your eyes and smiled. "Sounds good Mae, lead the way."

You all got to the cafe sitting at the booth table by the window, Rosita lying down next to Mae's legs.

"Heh I see why this is dog friendly, there's mostly dog monsters here." Suzy chuckled.

Mae nodded and smiled. "Yeah I usually bring Rosita here when I need a quick coffee after walking her hehe."

You looked around, it was a pretty 20's looking cafe with dog paws on the walls and monster dogs sitting at the front just chatting away. There were a few humans too with their dogs next to them.

As you girls ordered and waited for your coffees you were just talking about the first time you met the skeletons.

"Remember when we first met Horror and Crook?" Mae said. You laughed a little. "Yeah I was terrified Horror wouldn't leave me alone haha."

"Pfft he still doesn't leave you alone." Suzy said with a smirk. "Yeah but at first he would just follow me and try to scare me or he'd appear in front of me making me bump into him. He knew I was scared of him."

Mae giggled. "Yeah those first couple of weeks were difficult, Red and Slim playing pranks as well oh my god haha."

"Ugh yeah those were annoying but I got my revenge on Red that one time with Rosita hehe." You said smiling remembering Red's reaction to your little prank.

"Hell yes that was a hilarious!" Suzy laughed.

Mae giggled and shook her head as she took a sip of her coffee. You girls were just chatting away not noticing the tall figure enter the cafe.
