The next morning you woke up to the smell of... Waffles? You slowly lifted your head off your pillow, a tired groan escaping your lips as you sat up. Was Mae making waffles? That was new. Mae preferred them more for dessert than for breakfast. You put your dressing gown on as you got off your bed and headed out your room.

Suzy was on the stair case, staring into the kitchen. You raised an eyebrow at the sight of the wild girl kneeling down onto the souls of her feet, her messy hair all over the place. You put a hand over your mouth trying to hold in a laugh.

"Watcha..pfft doing there Suzy?" you snickered. Suzy stood up looking really confused "Sans is in the kitchen..." "So?" Suzy huffed in disbelief "Y/N he's cooking WAFFLES!" she said shaking your arms a little as you blinked a few times, trying to process what Suzy just said. Sans is cooking?

You've never seen any of the Sans' cook in the kitchen besides Blue and Berry but none of the others, that's for sure. "No way..." You and Suzy quickly headed down the stairs and peeked into the kitchen your eyes widened in shock Suzy was right Sans WAS cooking waffles! Was this a weird dream you were having?

"See I wasn't lying.." Suzy mumbled. Sans turned around from the waffle maker he smiled brightly as he noticed you and Suzy staring at him in disbelief "Heya Y/N, Suzy. Want some waffles?" Sans said as he plated some freshly cooked waffles at the table you and Suzy sat at. "Err yeah sure...you're... err, up early Sans?" you asked.

Sans chuckled, "Heh yeah thanks to Paps" he shrugged.

"Didn't know you could cook lad?" Suzy pointed out.

"Duh course I can who'd ya think taught Papyrus to cook edible spaghetti?" he rolled his eye lights.

Wait Papyrus' spaghetti wasn't edible once? Well then... Sans grinned "i'm just too lazy to cook most of the time" he shrugged as you rolled your eyes. Of course he was. "Why cook when other people cook for ya heh heh"

"Hm fair point" Suzy mumbled. After Sans placed two plates of waffles in front of you and Suzy. Mae and Papyrus walked in from the living room "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY LADIES NYEH HEH" Papyrus said excitingly as he hugged you and Suzy from behind. Oh yeah you almost forgot that today was the lovey dovey day... Maybe that's why Sans was cooking breakfast?

Heh of course it was, no question about it. He hasn't cooked any other day since you've met him. How sweet of him to do that, saving Mae the trouble of cooking for everyone. You giggled and gave Papyrus a hug back. "Thanks Papy hehe"

"Ah... so it's that time of year again when horny people are around.." Suzy mumbled through a mouth full of food - waffles, more specifically.

Mae frowned at her as she sat down "Suzy..shush..." she said through clenched teeth.

"What it's true-"

"Ah she's just speaking her mind, little Mae as always heh" Buc chuckled as he poked Suzy's cheek making her pout and blush in embarrassment.

"Fuck off lad!" she said, hitting his hand away. You smiled brightly, seeing Buc enter the kitchen as he gave you a smile and a wink, grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl.

"Hehe, someone's in a good mood this morning" you said as you took a bite of waffle. Damn these tasted pretty good.

Buc grinned, "Of course peaches, 'cause this is gonna be the best Valentines day ya girls are gonna have!" he said proudly as he bit down into his apple.

"How so?" Mae asked with an amused smirk on her face as she sipped her tea. She had never seen Buc act like this before it was quiet amusing.
