Shota took a deep breath and started playing his electric guitar to a song he picked out. A song by Maren Morris featuring Hozier. The songs titled: The Bones.

He turned towards Hizashi and smirked he had brought his drum set and played in sync with the guitar.

Akemi's voice never ceased to leave Shota breathless as his heart was doing little cartwheels in his chest.

We're in the homestretch of the hard times
We took a hard left, but we're alright
Yeah, life sure can try to put love through it, but
We built this right, so nothing's ever gonna move it

She sung the chorus.

When the bones are good, the rest don't matter
Yeah, the paint could peel, the glass could shatter
Let it rain 'cause you and I remain the same
When there ain't a crack in the foundation
Baby, I know any storm we're facing
Will blow right over while we stay put
The house don't fall when the bones are good

Shota took a deep breath and sung his part of the duet while playing his guitar.

Call it dumb luck, but baby, you and I
Can't even mess it up, yeah, though we both tried
No, it don't always go the way we planned it
But the wolves came and went and we're still standing

The second chorus was sung by Akemi and Shota

When the bones are good, the rest don't matter
Yeah, the paint could peel, the glass could shatter
Let it rain 'cause you and I remain the same
When there ain't a crack in the foundation
Baby, I know any storm we're facing
Will blow right over while we stay put
The house don't fall when my bones are good
When the bones are good

The Bridge was also sung in a duet.

Bones are good, the rest, the rest don't matter (Baby, it don't really matter)
Paint could peel, the glass could shatter (Oh, the glass, oh, the glass could shatter)
Bones are good, the rest, the rest don't matter (Ooh)
Paint could peel, the glass, the glass could shatter (Yeah)

They poured their souls out into the final chorus staring intently into each other's eyes and Akemi was smiling as a few tears fell. He was smiling as he sang and strummed along to a song that reflected his own heart.

When the bones are good, the rest don't matter
Yeah, the paint could peel, the glass could shatter
Let it rain (Let it rain, let it rain)
'Cause you and I remain the same (Woo)
When there ain't a crack in the foundation (Woo)
Baby, I know any storm we're facing
Will blow right over while we stay put
The house don't fall when the bones are good

Yeah, ooh...

They finished and Akemi instantly hugged him whispering softly. "I love you Shota..."

He smiled only to look up and blush brightly when he noticed Nemuri swooning beside a cheeky grinning Shira-Kumo. Mr. Yamada simply gave him a thumbs up. Meanwhile Hizashi was snickering in his spot behind his drums.

The ever flamboyant 'Purple Highness' was standing beside Nemuri in all purple outfit. He had a knowing little smirk on his face while tilting his head downward, as if he was gesturing towards Akemi, and then winked at Shota.

He chuckled and started clapping an applause with a grin on his face. His clapping roused the stunned crowd into cheering.

The bully Sensoji was frowning, and with a unimpressed scoff he left.

Sensoji was sort of right about one thing though, Shota was as red as his outfit. However it wasn't from nervousness, instead it was embarrassment.
