Shota was running, he was running as soon as his breath returned to his lungs. He ran before his fellow teachers, his students, Hitoshi, Eri, or Emiko could even comprehended what had happened on the TV but Shota knew. He knew the moment the news was broadcasted about the massive explosion and building fire that Akemi was somehow involved.
That sinking feeling in his stomach told him to run to the nearest hospital from the location of the tragedy. He was glad his endurance and stamina were at their maximum strength because it was at least the length of a 10k marathon to that particular hospital!
He arrived panting heavily and out of breath only to have Iida suddenly appear beside him frantically waving his arms about.
"Mister Aizawa, Sir, please don't scare us like that again!"
Shota was panting heavily as he regained his breath. "How-How-did you-find-?"
Suddenly a bus pulled up with Hizashi driving. He looked extremely pissed off and even honked the horn a few times before pointing at Shota with the (You Totally Just Pissed Me Off Right Now) look as he parked the bus.
He got out ranting up a storm of inaudible huffs and grunts as he be-lined it to Shota like a angry Bull in a matador ring! Toshinori, Ectoplasm, the rest of Class 1-A, and Hitoshi (who was holding Eri's hand, while Emiko was bouncing on his hip) followed after the ranting Cockatoo. Hizashi reached Shota and finally spoke up.
"WHAT THE CRAP BRO??? YOU JUST GET UP AND LEAVE LIKE THAT WITH NO EXPLANATION??? SERIOUSLY??? I KNEW AKEMI WAS LIKELY INVOLVED IN THIS BUT YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO GET UP AND RUN OUT LIKE YOUR FREAKIN IIDA!!!"
"Shut Up!"
He stared at Hizashi as his hair parted from his eyes and his hand still resting over his mouth. Hizashi was instantly silent with a terrified squeak. He'd seen that look only once before...after the Shira-Kumo is a living Nomu revelation down in Tartarus.

The red aura of his eyes burned like fire.
Hizashi gulped. "S-Shota...?"
Shota removed his shaking hand from his face and spoke with anger in his voice. "It was him...that level of destruction...it was him Hizashi. The Man That Killed Our Mother..."
He snarled and ran inside the ER. He ran up to the front desk and demanded. "I'm Shota Aizawa now I suggest you direct me to Akemi Yuriemoto's hospital room immediately!"
Hizashi ran in and spoke hastily as he grabbed his shoulder.
"Bro chill out!"
"Shut Up Hizashi!"
"Dude!!!" Hizashi spun him around. "Your scaring people Shota!"
Shots froze over the fearful gazes of the other patients in the ER. A few children were even crying. He felt horrible for scaring these people and fell to his knees as his emotions hit him like a battering ram to the gut.
