Chapter 306: You can't escape from Eri's Tea Parties

Shota walked over and peered inside the crib, surprised to find that Emiko is still asleep.

"Emiko? Emiko, it's time to wake up." His only response is a tiny grunt before Emiko rolls over.

"Evil ider squash squash!"

Shota's smiled faded into a confused frown. *Evil Spider? Wait!* His eyes widened. *OH SHIT!*

He should've been more observant of her mental trauma to realize she'd have dreams about the villains that kidnapped her! Suddenly he heard her giggling as she chanted happily. "Squash squash squash! Evil Ider!"

She giggled happily and Shota's smile returned. He picked her up and held her in his arms.

"My little dream warrior..." He kissed her cheek softly before cuddling her close. "Yes Emiko, you squash that evil spider."

Emiko whines and nuzzles closer to him, grabbing at his shirt, and refusing to open her eyes. Shota's eyes softened. *She's just like her mother. But I really should get her up...*

"Come on, sweetie. It's time to get up."
Still his daughter refuses to wake up. "You don't want to sleep for the entire day now do you? Come on. Let Baba see those big, beautiful eyes."

After another small fuss finally Emiko wakes. Her eyes flutter a bit before she looks at him. A large smile breaks over her face. "Baba!"

"Haha, that's right. Baba's got you." Shota gives her a hug, earning a giggle. "We are going spend the day together as a family. So, what shall we do first?"

A low growling sound fills the room. Shota looked down as Emiko's tiny hands resting on her tummy. "Hmm. Seems the first thing to do is breakfast."

Shota decided to leave Emiko in her purple Cheshire kitten pajamas. Better she get those dirty than a fresh pair of clothes. He mentally sighed over how it took them this long to figure that out.

He then head towards Eri's room. He entered and immediately snickered. Eri was laying on her stomach, the blanket wasn't on her. Her legs were spread out and slightly bent in an Egyptian hieroglyph pose. While her arms were dangling off the bed. She was wearing pajama's mimicking Mirio's hero costume.

Her hair looked like Iida had ran laps around her to get that windswept look and yet it was splayed out around her head like a statically charged pompom fan.

She had her mouth open and was snoring softly. Clearly she had a good nights sleep.

"Eri it's time to wake up."

"It's to early...five more minutes daddy catipillar..." She grinned in her sleep. "Why of course I'll help you Rabbit Iida...hehehe it's so funny! You worry about being late...but your always a early rooster..."

Shota smiled. "Eri it's Morning."

Eri grinned softly as she snores.

"(Snore)...Cock-a-Doodle-Doo...(Snore)"

Shota smirked and snorted a muffled laugh behind his hand. "Eri if you don't hurry and wake up Sato's going to eat all your favorite cereal."

Eri immediately shot up in bed staring at him with with delirious sleepy looking red eyes.

"Not my Applejacks that's mean!"

Shota snickered over her disastrous morning bed-head. "Consider it even for the 'out of coffee' routine."

She stuck her tongue out at him which he mimicked. "Come on let's get some breakfast."
