"Tell her now," Mark ordered Matt as they reached Matt.

Danny seemed so confused so she asked," Tell me what? You are telling me that he is my brother?".

"I'm sorry Daniella I should have told you sooner,", Matt said quietly trying to avoid eye contact.

Danny asked, "Why did you hide that?" while making him face her.

"I figured that you wouldn't want to see me again since mother and father blamed me for the crash and for not being there for you," Matt said feeling ashamed.

She lightly smacked his head and said."There. That's for not telling me sooner and thinking that I wouldn't want to see you. I thought you were dead!".

Matt was shocked and asked," I thought you forgot me! You remembered me all those years?".

"Yes! Where you?" Danny exclaimed.

"I left since our parents want me around you anymore," Matt said a bit annoyed at the lies their parents told them.

"I never did like your parents," Mark said while leaning back on the wall. Matt enveloped Danny in a hug and started crying since he could finally be with his sister again after 10 years.

Danny laughed and hugged back while saying, "I missed you too".

"Sorry I couldn't protect you fully," Matt said quietly since he was upset that he couldn't do anything to help her.

Danny said," It's fine. There is nothing you can do about the past. Just focus on the present".

"Speaking of presents, Christmas is next month and I am taking you two out for the holiday," Matt said while perking up and letting go of Danny.

Mark asked," I am not allowed to leave this place so how do you expect to take me out?" and crossed his arms.

"Leave that to me!" Matt said happily.

"God, you are too cheery for this. It's only another day on the calendar," Mark sighed.

"Be that as it may, it is still important to enjoy time with others every once in a while?" Matt said stubbornly.

"I am not going," Mark said with the same amount of stubbornness.

"Even though Danny is going?" Matt asked knowing Mark would never deny her.

"Please Mark? It'll bee fun! I promise!" Danny pleaded while looking at Mark. Mark sighed until he realized everyone was staring at him, so he glared and everyone flinched at the sight of him so they looked away.

Then Mark said, "Fine I'll go as long as I can get away from these humans".

"Why do you do that? Is it because they didn't treat you like a person?" Matt asked interested in why he wouldn't classify himself as a human too.

Mark growled, "Exactly. If they are human, then I don't want to be classified in the same group as them. I'd rather be a monster than be similar to them in any way" and didn't faze Matt in the least.

"Understandable," Matt said while looking at a confused Mark.

"I get if Danny is nice to me, but why are you doing it?" Mark asked with the most confused look he has ever made.

"I have learned that I can't be mean towards someone just because everyone else does since I don't know what you have gone through, so it isn't fair to judge you based on how you act," Matt said like he has had to say that multiple times.

"I guess speaking like a fortune cookie runs in the family," Mark said while smiling. That was the first time that Mark smiled for someone else other than Danny.
