Chapter 13

  "Okay, Liz should be here and she is bringing her friend I believe, so please try not to be too mean," Danny said while making lunch for everyone. 'Good thing I have this house since I could never fit everyone comfortably in here at once' Danny thought while looking out at everyone from the kitchen. It was nice and sunny out, so Danny set up the table that was on her back porch and asked the three boys if they could help. By the time they finished, Danny heard someone knock, so she went to open the door and gave Liz a hug.

Danny looked up and asked, "Are you really Sebastian? You got so big!".

"Yeah, I did. I missed you Danny" Sebastian said laughing and while giving her a hug.

Danny said, "I missed you too". Danny brought Sebastian closer to her and whispered, "Hurt Liz at all and I will give you no mercy. Understand Sebastian?".

"Understood, but you don't need to worry about that ever happening. I plan to protect her no matter what" he whispered back and let go when he heard an angry Mark.

"Excuse me, but why are you touching her?" Mark asked while glaring.

Sebastian looked at Danny and asked, "Who is this Danny?".

"Oh this is Mark, another friend of mine and the one standing holding him back is Matt and finally, the one hugging Liz is James. Mark I did say to be nice to our guests so go shake his hand and don't touch them in a way that harms them" Danny demanded in a serious tone.

Mark rolled his eyes and replied, "Fine".

"Good. You too Matt" Danny said while turning to Matt.

Matt looked shocked and asked, "How are you on such close terms with the head of the Sutcliff family?".

"We are childhood friends before he became the head of the family and we stayed friends ever since," Danny said while Mark eyed Sebastian suspiciously and shook his hand. When everyone was introduced to each other, Danny said, "It's time to eat! Please follow me" and showed everyone to the table they were using for lunch. Everyone sat down, but Danny sitting in between Sebastian and Mark. Mark made sure that Danny's chair was closer to him and Danny noticed but chose to ignore it as long as it kept him from getting angry.

"This is so nice Danny. You didn't need to prepare all of this" Liz said while admiring the food.

Danny smiled and said, "It is fine. I love making everyone happy".

"Can I talk to you in private please?" Liz asked seriously.

"Sure. Excuse us please" Danny said while getting up.

They walked into the kitchen and Liz said, "I know you can't do this for long".

"I am fine Liz," Danny said quietly while looking down.

Liz raised Danny's face and asked, "Are you really? Are you okay with keeping this a secret?".

"What a secret?" Matt asked and the two girls both jumped in surprise.

"Why are you here?" Liz asked shocked.

Matt looked at Liz and said, "Well I came to get water. Now, what secret Danny?".

Danny didn't make eye contact and said, "Nothing".

"You can trust me, Danny. I am your brother" Matt said hurt that she lied to him.

"Well, everyone in this house has something about their mental health that is not good. Mine is schizophrenia and depression, but I must help you all get better" Danny said with determination.

"You know you can always ask for help. We can help each other get better, you don't need to do this all by yourself" Matt said while hugging Danny.
